The end of an era.
@@Yellow936 this comment makes no sense
@@benk3431 I think he’s referring to the Brampton plant where Charger is made. Stellantis will find another use for it.
And the beginning of a brand new, better, faster & sleeker era!
💪😎🇺🇲🎬
@@FaithfulServant316 quicker and faster, yes. Better? That’s subjective. Part of the fun was the sound and wrenching and modding.
The end of Dodge. I feel the switch to evs might kill the brand.
Dodge sales are going to drop once they discontinue the HEMI, especially since EV’s are far from ready for prime time
I absolutely agree. There are far too many people that aren’t ready/don’t want EVs right now. They shoulda kept the Hemi a few more years
@@MarspeedCars they can’t, I wish you guys would do your research on why this is happening before voicing your opinion on why they shouldn’t do what they are doing, it has nothing to do with sales or Stellantis, they have the Hurricane six to replace the v8 so they are not just jumping right into EVs after 2024, they still have until 2030, please if you’re going to talk about the car industry talk about everything, not just about the cars if you’re going to have an opinion on changes in the car industry.
@@dylanmijer2890 not enough carbon credits to keep making V8s a little while longer hahaha! I just want to hear their version on the Inline-6. I pray it sounds good, then I would be interested. 🤔
@@mr.300c so the world is dying and all you’ll care about is the sound of what a car makes😑… got it🙄
@@dylanmijer2890 I wish you had more more perspective on my view point on this subject 😮💨. But you dont have the full story. Its all good. You don't know what you dont know right? Lol.
You mentioned the world is dying and me caring about sound. Dying from what? Climate change? Or a potential nuclear war that Russia is threatening?🤷🏿♂️
Sound is important but is just a piece of the puzzle for a complete driving experience in my opinion. So don't get hung up by my small comment player. One day, I'll eventually get an EV. Maybe in a few years, maybe in 20 years. IDK yet. I'm just observing seeing how the market responds to it (From a Dodge brand perspective). In the meantime, since V8s are going away, why can't I be curious to see how the Inline-6 engines will be as a consumer? Currently I drive a 2006 Chrysler 300c SRT8. Only 14K miles in excellent condition. I dont have any plans of switching right now they way how our economy is. Everything is jacked up.
Despite all the hate being a 4 door.. cant shy away its prolly been the best looking car from front side to back and overall lines.. since 2018.... sorry not sorry
I’m cross-shopping Charger Scat Pack with another 4-door V-8, Lexus IS 500 F-Sport.
just preordered my 2023 gt awd, super SUPER excited i cant even begin to explain. from 2006 prius to this
lmao that's awesome.
How you like it
I just picked up a 23 GT and I’m pretty impressed. Wanted something that wouldn’t be a gas guzzler since I’m commuting to work otherwise SRT all the way 😂
@@bigbaggerben7504 i actually ended up cancelling the order on the GT and placed one on the RT. I'm in love with it even if it isn't a sp or hc!
Glad to see the superbee coming back, but Dodge shoulda done better with the hellcat lineup throughout production. Especially these final additions...
This is the last time we going to be miss dodge family they love 2015 2016 2017 2018 2019 2020 2021 2022 2023 All these years they may history! People love it so much never get old
Love my rt max awd, shame they never continued it for the 8 speed models
Jailbreak Hellcat Charger with half the car painted B5 Blue (driver's side), and the other half painted Plum Crazy Purple (passenger's side). If only I had the money. I'd also be perfectly happy with a B5 Blue Charger GT with AWD.
Price of the car + cost of the Insurance + government involvement forcing manufactures to take a knee = It killed ALL these muscle cars, again.
I`ve lived through 2 era`s of muscle cars being killed off. This is the finishing death blow. All the kiddies want fuzzy buzzy electric cars now.
Makes me pretty damn proud to have lived in the greatest era and times of muscle cars...owned a few within both era`s.
That is awesome having lived through both eras. I was just a kid when the Hemis first came back and I’m sad to see I probably can’t afford a new Hellcat this year unless I stretch myself before they’re gone. Such a shame where the world is going
great post as i'm a retired old man 24 years today. 🙂🙂🙂
Amazing video!!
So sad the 2 best cars on earth are going away. 😢
Because all the little kiddies want fuzzy buzzy electric cars now.
Wait until those batteries have to be replaced! They will sh!t a diaper load bigtime.
Very sad indeed, interesting to see what they replace them with but not gonna be the same no matter what it is
@@D70340 there's legislative changes happening.
M5 CS: Am I a joke to you?
GT500: He must think we are a joke
Corvette C8: Maybe he can't afford us?
LFA: Lol he's joking right?
RS7:...Is he even a car guy?
C63 AMG: I think he's joking considering that those cars are using my elder's chassis and an engine similar to ours even the sound I must say.
@@Ayixlia yeah I don’t give a shit about the other car brands
MARSPEED, I want to congratulate you for All of your hard work for this Channel. Everything that you’ve actually said News-Wise has been 100% Correct.
I only believe what you post compared to All the other Channels out there. Thank You Man!!!
Imagine the end of a Era going out with an AWD Hellcat Redeye!
Loved this informative and entertaining video sir👏👏👍👍
Marspeed friend keep up the great work 😃😃🇺🇸🇺🇸💪💪👍👍👍👍
Welp, This is it for the LD Model Chargers.
Just got the last call charger scatpack Wednesday it’s awesome
I wouldn't enjoy the cost, but I do enjoy that supercharger whine.
The end of a good 👍🏽 run 😢I just hurts my soul 😢😢
Sure is gonna suck when these cars are gone. 😔
The new cars following will be faster, quicker and much more reliable. Plug n Go
@@alexnutcasio936 Faster and quicker sure but don't get your hopes up to much on the reliable part because they may not be. And whats really gonna suck is the fact that it's gonna be pretty hard to modify/customize an ev.
@@Modine. what can go wrong and what maintenance is required? Little to none. As to mods, someone will figure out how to mod the electric motors and the ECM that controls them. Only a matter of time. Remember, a stock Plaid on street tires and a mediocre driver will rattle off 9.2 qtr miles all day long and 0-60 in about 2.0-2.1. Try that in your Demon with drag radials and skinnies. You’d be lucky to break into the 9s. Getting into 9s is easy for Plaid S or even X.
@@alexnutcasio936 Plenty can go wrong and eventually will. I seriously doubt that EVs will be as maintenance free as some would have us believe, that just doesn't add up to me. I know EVs are pretty fast outa the factory but a big benefit to owning an ice car is being able to spend a day in your garage putting a better intake manifold, exhaust, supercharger, nitrous or whatever on your car to make it yours so to speak. That's what I ment.
@@Modine. ^^this guy gets it 🥲
Very impressive line up.
I’m going to go ahead and get me a 2023 RT Daytona.. I plan to keep it for 30+ years
👍🏼 ⛽️⛽️⛽️ screw EV’s
I always wanted that damn b5 blue so freakinn bad 😢
Pour one out :(( these will be future classics without question
You never know when T. Kuniskus SAYS ANYTHING; What to Believe Anymore.
I miss my magnum. Only 154 made in 06. AWD RT in that year. Just sold it
I agree great car similar to the Avalanch.
Great vid lil bro!
Thanks for the support bro!
I'm sure eMuscle will help us transition to the new era of automobiles with a fimiliar style :)
I’m stuck between a destroyer grey and sublime green 23 charger rt
Thanks for the lineup changes. Any MSRP news?
Not yet for the Charger. I do know the ‘23 Durango Hellcats cost $91,185 for the Regular, $97,185 for Plus, $102,085 for Premium. Insane 😵💫
Is the pricing info anywhere on websites?
When are the ordering banks going to open for the 2023 Durango Hellcat?
great I was excited to order a 23 charger in indigo blue but now that's gone im sad now have to order it without my favorite color
Dude same here!!! Idk if I even wanna order one now I might just have to keep my narrow body indigo blue charger😩
Go B5 Blue, not the same but it’s a close second
Big wille is associated with ( I don't remember how, sorry) Terminal Island dragstrip in Los Angeles County.
Thanks for the awesome memories, Dodge. #RIPChargerAndChallanger #NoMoreHellcats #AllHEMISoldOut #NoMorePentastarV6
Does the charger gt AWD v6 have the same mpg as a 5.7 rt? In my area used gts with more options is the same price as a base model rt 😢 don’t know what to get
V6 AWD is rated at 18 city 27 hwy
R/T is rated at 16 city 25 hwy
In real life though the V6 should get better if you are easy on it, the V8s are normally much worse especially in cities and stop and go traffic (based on my experience owning a V6 and V8). The R/T should also be given 89 gas whereas the V6 can take 87. Id go R/T all day long its just more fun to drive imo
@@MarspeedCars thanks for the reply, to be honest mpg isn’t that big of a deal, what is a big deal for me is features , would you take a base rt over a loaded v6 for around the same price?
Great Review…..EV is a Mistake
45searay your right !!!
Can anyone tell me what “23B
Customer Preferred Package 23B” entail? I ordered my 2023 Charger Hellcat Widebody and it’s says that on order sheet but I have no idea what it is.
I don’t know exactly what’s in it for the 2023 Hellcats but normally in the past it included stuff like power seats, Sirius XM radio, leather wrapped steering wheel, that sort of thing
I’m sad they removed the blue. I really wanted that color. But that green might be the one.
Well, a lot fewer cars for state police to chase at 120 mph plus.
PS Don't tell anyone, but some of those electric cars now and on the way? Greased lightning.
Is the Super Stock not available for the last hurrah?
That’s Challenger only so not for Charger. Not sure if it’s back for 2023 but will do the Challenger video soon
This cars been around Nearly 20 years. Crazy.
nice profile pic :)
I won’t believe anything until it actually happens now!!!
😥😑The hemi powered cars are gone.😑😥 like Tim Kuniskis said "end of a legendary era". Will the Durango still offer powered engines after 2023?
I have heard that the Durango will follow the Wagoneer with the hurricane I6 engines and similar platform (not confirmed yet though)
And the beginning of a brand new, better, faster & sleeker era!
💪😎🇺🇲🎬
@9:00 Dodge: We have a year to really clear out all the old LX /LD parts bins 👌2024 is right around the corner!
this was my favorite car and they had to discontinue it, tbh the future might be whack, but the kids in the future will like it.
Dodge chargers are 🔥🔥🔥
1200 hp right here
The Only Good Thing About All This Is That They Are Actually making Announcements. The last time they went belly up, We Had to Hear It On The National News.
Great lineup, sad to once again the government is killing the muscle car. 😢
7th one is a Cuda
Okay. I'm going to stop EVERYONE right here. Dodge is NOT getting rid of gas chargers. They didn't make the 3.0l hurricane motors for nothing. I'm quite certain the EV will only be a certain TRIM LEVEL as that makes the most sense from a business standpoint. They aren't stupid guys, and they do listen especially since I won't stop being a squeaky wheel on their Instagram about it. It's gonna be okay guys.
Indigo blue was the only color I liked😢
Widebody starting at 56k???
People still gonna buy them 😂😂 don’t worry
@@billnye5183 just like my dumbass
@@keithadams897 hey if u wanna buy it then by all means do it it’s just you won’t just be paying 56k cause they’ll mark it up and put these other useless things in it so you’ll probably be paying over 60K when I feel like better options out for 60K ya know
The 2022s are now 55k USD, 2023 gonna be even more 😭 and that’s before markups and shit
@@MarspeedCars it's going to be a shit show
taking away indigo blue is a bad idea.
Excuse Me If I am Wrong; But Didn’t Tim Kuniskus say that ALL CHARGERS were Going to be WIDEBODY for 2023?
I can't believe I will never be able to drive my dream car 🥲🥲🥲🥲😪😪😪
So this is the beginning of the end of US automotive manufactures
I never understood why Dodge offers like 5 different shades of the underwhelming grey?
Dodge needs to come up with a huge lineup with new cars And cars from the dead and desgin the charger and challenger with New exterior interior and interior
RIP to the real Charger and Challenger (1970-2023) too bad that we’ll be hearing that fucking meowing from this point on.
Just think. This is only the end of the new car era. We will have these Mopars for another 20 years
Most educated car people have did there research on this car company, and know Dodge, should have prepare themselves before becoming Dodge/Stellantis, know that , the Hemi V8 engines is what keep there company alive all this time, and should have develop a line of smaller displacement new 32 V DOHC V8 engines to coming in place of the Hemi V8 engines !! Plus they should have worked on some of them EV'S in the past ,too balance things out that they could use both !!!
Are you familiar with the intrepid ESX concept? If not. Look it up please. Cool EV from 90s dodge.
Exactly right. Lexus UR 5L produces as much JP as Dodge’s 6.2L (though not as much torque). Lexus will continue to use this engine and other V8s for the foreseeable future.
Just Vote with your wallet's people because voting time is coming !!!
Yup.
Better sell your stock now.. December. Right before they stop
WTF Dodge!?!? Just upgrade the Challenger and Charger interior to the current Durango level (e.g. instrument cluster) and keep on building these cars!!!
👍🥰🤩
One of the many reasons why I'm switching to Ford.
Lol. I wouldn't nor have I ever called that 4 door station wagon a Dodge Charger. The last Charger was in 1972.
Supply and demand take away the demand . It’s now owned by the Italians
V-8 > Electric
Which engine and trim are more reliable 5.7L R/T or 6.2L Scat Pack?
Last
The great V8 sound and brilliant looking car is what people want.
Why are you replacing it with electric stuff your people will be out of business and Mustang GT will get all your business very sorry mate😂
Yeah my YT career is numbered I’m going to have to do a Ford channel 😭😂 they screwed up
But this critical move , for Dodge/Stellantis to killing off there Hemi V8 engines all together, plus there rear wheel muscle cars for some over price EV electric car garbage, and just a Inline 6 hurricane engines only, with no more V8 engine options sorry , is not going to cut the mustard ,and a major backlash is coming there way when there customers start to walk away, because it's coming !!! 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️😡😡😡👎👎👎👎
For me a widebody with AWD is better.
Yeah I feel you, unfortunately we won’t see it on this platform
Shhhhh
This EV nonsense is going to be one big flop! They're making a terrible mistake!
😥😓
Biggest mistake Dodge made.
They’ll just bring back the name and put it on another car, probably a cross over next time, this time it was the magnum. Good riddance!
So sad to see
People are stupid, buy EVs so what to do. If nobody buy EVs, then HEMI still will be with us.
Not one of these will beat Plaid 0-60 nor qtr mile. Not one.
Correct, it is blindingly fast. But the Plaid is 50K more, and has no soul.
@@9ZERO6 $130 k, where you getting $50?
Teslas are overpriced like the rest of the EV rabble.
@@cris_261 that same EV you reference is killing off your beloved Charger and Challenger. Guess what? Stellantis is making a BEV because they see the future.
@@alexnutcasio936 Oh I know. EVs are the future, but right now, they're overpriced. And the money you're allegedly saving by not having to buy gasoline? It goes toward an increased electric bill for charging your car at home.
Don’t buy these pos EVs
