A Christmas Day miracle from Secret Santa for a hard-working elementary school aide

The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping a local Secret Santa give $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho this holiday season. Every day, from now until the end of the year, we will post videos of the recipients being surprised with these life-changing gifts.
Letitia is one of the kindest, most thoughtful people you could ever meet. She is always looking out for the needs of others, despite her own difficulties.
Letitia’s car has some major problems. It is a 2002 with a lot of miles. It seems to be a continual sinkhole for repairs. She will save up to get one thing fixed and it will work for a week or two then something else breaks.
She was hospitalized earlier this month and had to take a week off of work. She is a part-time aide at the elementary school so she gets very little paid time off. December is already a short month for days in school so by taking a week off, it is going to make her next paycheck very small.
All of the unexpected expenses have eaten away at her money and she is worried about how she will get places in her vehicle that is not reliable.
Secret Santa asked the East Idaho News elves to pay Letitia a visit with a Christmas miracle. Check out the surprise in the video player above!

I have GOT to stop reading every comment. It doesn’t stop my tears of joy…only makes me cry more that people all over the world express my feelings of amazement at not only the money that Secret Santa shares, nor the enormously great job that Nate and his other elves do, but that the recipient’s total amazement & gratitude is always overwhelming to me. A 2022 Suburu Crosstrack is worth at least $25,000. I'd trade my 17 year old Camry for a new Subaru any day. Congratulations to Latisha. It warms my heart to see her get all of this! I'm a teacher's aide as well. We tend to not get near as much credit for all that we do, in comparison to the teachers. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely LOVE my job. The kiddos are the most important thing. It's just nice to see a fellow aide get recognized for all her hard work and sacrifice. So true, EA’s don’t always get the recognition and support they deserve. It’s a hard job with poor pay, that needs to change (pay amount). I subbed as an EA for two years, it was challenging, rewarding, and I loved helping many amazing kiddos.
@@river8760 I completely agree with you. I work as a teacher's aide from 7:30-3pm. I also do home health care in the evenings part time. On the weekends, I work for Uber. Here soon, I am hoping to begin working in the after school tutoring program at my school. (which thankfully pays pretty decently) So many others, that I work with, are having to work multiple jobs as well. It is the sad truth.

Are you on Crete, by chance? I have a contact in Iereptera and wondered if I could find out a place that does cheap takeaway roast chickens, as a surprise for him. I can google but I can't read the info and I can't speak Greek to ask owner/manager. I wanted it to be a surprise. He runs a little dog/cat rescue called Jutta

Oh I could tell she was so happy but at the same time couldn't believe it. She deserved all the gifts and a new car for her was wonderful. She had to immediately hug everyone.
