Young family who lost everything in house fire gets surprise gifts from a Secret Santa

The EastIdahoNews.com team is busy helping a local Secret Santa give $1 million to deserving people in eastern Idaho this holiday season. Every day, from now until Christmas, we will post videos of the recipients being surprised with these life-changing gifts.
Branson and Rainee recently purchased an old trailer home that needed a complete renovation. They planned to live in it while they wait to build their house on some land they purchased.
They worked tirelessly on the camper over the past six months with the little time Branson has away from his work in Jackson Hole. They finally moved in all of their belongings and spent their first night in their trailer.
A few days later, Rainee was driving home from work to put their son Krew down for a nap. She saw smoke rising in the distance and realized their home, with all of their belongings, including their dog, were consumed in fire.
Everything they owned was burned and now they are starting over.
Secret Santa asked the East Idaho News elves to visit Brandon and Rainee to bring them an early Christmas gift. Watch the surprise in the video player above!

Horrible enough that their trailer burned down but also their dog. My heart goes out to them.
@@ChaCha-lt8rx if I understood correctly, they had been in it for four days.. count that as living in it or not. It was meant to be their home.. I wouldn't assume they left the dog locked inside alone.

I feel bad that they lost their home and especially that the dog perished in the fire... Wishing them the best.. And to everybody out there , the moment that you have your own home or apartment get insurance lined up so that the very moment it becomes yours you are insured!
Get it before you even move....contact your agent ahead of time. Seen too many times where it's put off (like what happened), and you need it.

What a terrible thing to go through anytime but so close to the holidays must be so much harder. She seems to be doing well, though, and they do have a home right now. Thank you, Secret Santa, for giving them so much help to be able to furnish their new home in the future.

I also lost everything in a house fire. 4 years ago. And my pets were all lost as well. Sure would have been nice to have people like them around.

This is so fantastic for them! I don't mean this w/ hateful intent, but anyone who reads this, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - the moment you take possession of anything you cant afford to replace, make sure it's insured. Your house, your cars, expensive jewelry, etc. This is a horrible thing to have happen to them, but thank god they have been fortunate enough to have parents house to stay at in the mean time, as well as the blessings from Secret Santa.
My dad says that everything happens for a reason; I'm not sure what the reason is for this, but hopefully they recover fully, and live a happy life

How awful! We lost a garage and contents 35 years ago. That was bad enough. Thank goodness we had insurance and we did not lose our home. I hope this family has as Merry a Christmas as they can!! 🎄❤️🥰
