A wealth of knowledge! I really do like the layout with the powerpoint sort of highlighting the main points you are trying to make. I think it would have been helpful to hear some musical examples accompanying some of these ideas (for those of us less versed in musical theory), but I really enjoyed the lesson. Thank you, I'm glad you've found my books helpful! There is some overlap, but The Musical storyteller mostly focuses on the 9-parameters approach. It starts out with a deep dive into each of the parameters, breaking down each one down, how they're typically used to tell stories, and a list of questions you can use to explore each parameter in your own themes. Then it has dedicated chapters for studying emotions, characters, and storyworlds respectively for information useful to the 9-parameters approach. If you've finished my book on emotions and music, the overlap is mostly related to the section on "musical gestures."
