I honestly saw Benny as just as much a Batman voice as Kevin Conroy or Jensen Ackles 💯 Like when I see Batman in a comic-style, it’s Benny’s voice attached to the dialogue He really did do it for all the characters though. From cadence to fluctuations, it always just felt like Benny perfectly captured how a character was feeling through the dialogue. Yeah as a long-time subscriber this one hurt. It’s like now I get it when someone’s favorite athlete or rapper passes away
He was one of the people who introduced me to comic books And I remember it. That's one of how I love making comics. The first ever video that I watched from him was the Ultimate Spider-Man series. He was my childhood. He made the characters so alive and real. As if they have souls. I was shocked as I heard the news of his passing. Part of me didn't even want to accept it and refuse that he's dead. Like he posted 3 days ago and I thought he was fine and playing a prank. I was trying to hold it together but I was crying, I couldn't hold it together. He really is gone. He was my childhood. He is my childhood. And he was and still is a legend to comic book history. My mom and my grandma lived in a apartment where we had to share rooms with different people and i would sometimes listen comicstorian with the rest of the kids of the apartment well it was just 3 of us so we sometimes go to the alleyway and hang out with other kids.
