Reading through a lot of the space events in Marvel and Gladiator shows up a lot. Nova, Quasar, Gladiator etc are mainly in space. They rarely show up in the comics and events happening on Earth in Marvel.

Cap is actually a pretty blatant copycat himself. Look up The Shield. He's a soldier who takes a serum and it gives him great strength. He wears a star spangled red white and blue costume. The uniform's a little different, but still.

Almost every superhero universe has their own version of Superman. Including mine. I made two Superman copies. Supercircle, and Manly man.
I thought goku was sent to earth to conquer it. He definitely wasn’t sent to be saved from the destruction of planet vegeta.
Bruh, how do you not know the backstory of you own character😂🤦🏾♂️. He was sent to earth for his own protection, with hopes of surviving. Nothing more or less. It was saiyan like Raditz, vegeta, Nappa, etc. that told him he was sent to earth to conquer it, as they thought goku had the same mission/fate as the other saiyans. Little did they know, gokus parents wanted different.
They recently retconned it during the broly movie.

Cap is actually a pretty blatant copycat himself. Look up The Shield. He's a soldier who takes a serum and it gives him great strength. He wears a star spangled red white and blue costume. The uniform's a little different, but still.

Another Superman like character i remember was Silver Sentry from the 2003 TMNT animated series he was also the leader of Justice Force that universe's version of the Justice League
