Getting every single fighter back is absolutely amazing, we even get Ridley to boot! Kind of dashes hopes for more single player though. I'm not even asking for Subspace Emissary, just a Melee type adventure mode and/or a proper classic mode would make me happy.
If you have to unlock every character that wasn't in the original 64 roster, a part of me thinks we're getting a large single player mode to handle those 61+ unlocks. Probably something in-between Subspace and the Melee adventure mode.

In fact I'm not really expecting new characters as of now, as odd as it may sounds, but I do hope they add new characters as time pases (Doomguy would make everyone flip, Dragonborn, the arms ones, and whichever). And listen to the name: Ultimate. This game is everything it can be. Not including Waluigi and the more obscure fighter suggestions, nobody can ask anything anymore because it's all in it. Overall, this just feels like Sakurai's polite way of saying: "I gave you everything you wanted, now leave me alone already". And I mean, I'll definitely understand it if that's the case. The guy must be tired of working to the bone only to be asked for more.

What they did to Ridley is similar to what they did to Specter Knight in Shovel Knight: Spectre of Torment = shrinking accentuating elements and taking special note of the way they pose.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again for everyone who didn't hear it the first time: Your favorite character being an Assist Trophy isn't a bad thing. It's better than being a Mii Costume, and better than being a *collectible* trophy like Rayman was in the last game.

Carcassonne! It's a widely-beloved board game, about building a landscape with tiles and placing workers on them to get points based on how you lay them out.
It's a really good game; I was surprised it's coming to switch, and SUPER surprised to see it get recognition at E3
Even though we didn't exactly got new characters, I'm really satisfied with the "full roster" of the game. In fact I'm not really expecting new characters as of now, as odd as it may sounds, but I do hope they add new characters as time pases (Doomguy would make everyone flip, Dragonborn, the arms ones, and whichever).
And I'm sure it would've been nice to see other games (Come on nintendo, just tell us Bethesda is making Metroid 4)

Well, here's the thing:
Sakurai already said in the past that 4 was everything he wanted from a Smash game. Add to that the fact that every single character is in this, with the addition of the long-awaited Ridley and Daisy. Add to that the more melee-like speed and techniques. And listen to the name: Ultimate. This game is everything it can be. Not including Waluigi and the more obscure fighter suggestions, nobody can ask anything anymore because it's all in it.
Overall, this just feels like Sakurai's polite way of saying: "I gave you everything you wanted, now leave me alone already". And I mean, I'll definitely understand it if that's the case. The guy must be tired of working to the bone only to be asked for more.

What they did to Ridley is similar to what they did to Specter Knight in Shovel Knight: Spectre of Torment = shrinking accentuating elements and taking special note of the way they pose.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again for everyone who didn't hear it the first time: Your favorite character being an Assist Trophy isn't a bad thing. It's better than being a Mii Costume, and better than being a *collectible* trophy like Rayman was in the last game.
