Zena's story was one of Takis' great miraculous and mysterious healings. Takis listened to that voice and it was the right decision to not cut off her leg....imagine... for the world to also learn from Zena's journey. The little warrior that she was....I think Zena stole Takis' heart.
What an amazing story Zena is. All those people from the financial supporters, to the French parents, and all the ones in between, who came together to help this poor baby into her lovely life. Takis, you brought all these people onboard to work together and it is wonderful.
Takis should be considered for Sainthood. Saint Theoklitos Proestakis, the Saint of the homeless, mistreated, abandoned, forgotten, and abused dogs, cats, and all animals on our planet. Please donate more money to Takis Shelter in the island of Crete in Greece so he continue God's work on our planet.
I think all of us thought she would lose that paw, but she made it. She is an incredible little dog. Thanks you to everyone who went the extra mile to make this happen.
Dogs life expectancy is so so short. To see the suffering majority of these dogs go through, is flipping heart braking but then my heart warms up when a watch how Takis saves their lives and try’s his best to re home as many as he can. I wish every living soul on this planet had a heart of gold like Takis does, this life would be classed as heaven and not hell. ❤

Little Zena was resilient, strong, and she has the will to live. With the help of Takis. This little puppy made it to live happily. Her paw was bigger than her. It was very concerning to us viewers that they will amputate her paw. Everyone was praying for Zena. As days go by, her foot slowy becoming normal. We were happy with her development. A lot of us fell in love with this cute puppy. We're saddened when Taki said he will send Zena for adoption. We felt like we would never see her again. It was a bit disappointing but we felt a much better when her adopted parents features her from time to time on Takis web page. Honestly, we prayed that she'll find a nice, loving family. Thank God, she did. Thank you to Zena's family for loving her unconditionally. Thank you Taki for this featured life story of Zena. It brings us back when she was a baby. Wonderful look back at how it all started for Zena. While all the animals that come into the shelter are special & it is lovely to see their progress some like Zena, Aerial, Lazarus & Grandpa (🙏🏼) really tug at your heart & River will probably be the same. Zena paw looked horrendous initially & it looked like she would loose it but with Takis’s patience & experience it was saved & she made an incredible recovery & what a wonderful dog she is.
