Thank you Brendon, for all of it, Metalocalypse, Dethklok, Deathalbums 1-4, the series, the movies. It's all awesome, and I'll appreciate it as long as I can remember to watch it. I hope for a few more Deathalbums in the future.
It's very rare that I ever feel satisfied with the ending to a series that I love, but this one absolutely nailed it. I'm glad Brendon took the time he needed to complete this project, because it was so worth the wait to get a finished product of such high quality. Job well done!

Not a metal fan, but always loved the series. Have to say this movie just completely kicked ass. These characters.. yeah I mean c'mon as ridiculous as they are.. seemed utterly real. I loved this movie. And to scratch that itch after 10 years of waiting with something written and delivered at this level.. fucking glorious. Brendon Small and crew you rock.
Ummm.... Metalocalypse was never that deep of a show. I kind of viewed it as a "what if Beavis and Butt-Head were in a band." Not sure where why Brendan is putting all this redemption, messiah arc stuff into a show where they made a song called "briefcase full of guts." Dont get me wrong, im glad its getting an ending, but one of the best parts of the show was that it didnt (seem to) take itself seriously.
In the first episode it was hinting that they were part of a prophecy its always had that running underneath it. Rewatch the show with that in mind and you'll start to see how all the concerts are mass sacrifices and so on. In one episode they literally use an ancient nordic poem and summon a god which subsequently gets killed. Its all to serve one purpose; being metal as f- *guitar riff*

rewatching the entire series now, after doomstar the next logical choice for the band is SPACE! where they become GALAKTIKON
