If there is any vocalist that can pull off Skid Row without being Bach, its Hale! She truly is amazing! I've seen Halestorm live several years ago and they were great, I can't wait to see them again in October with Evanescence and The Warning, I am sure that's going to be off the hook. Lzzy just has that perfect 80s female metal voice much like Aaron and Ford, but possibly better! Wish I had the chance to see one of these shows of her with Skid Row, I am betting they were pretty special shows.

Two of my all time favourite bands

How the fuck does this only have around 600 views. I know I could have totally been a vocalist, guitarist or drummer myself...but after not being able to rely on my bandmates...I left that short run and made of family. I was around 19-20. Here I am about to turn 39...I've watched the struggles of bands over the last 20 years...some of it concerns me still today. I go to INK or Sonic every year...only live 25 min from INK...after that performance especially that "can you see me in the dark" ... holy shit...now I want to know everything about her. What a performance! But I am right there with you Lzzy. And I do think age has something to do with it. I don't feel as in control as I used to be. I can still get in the zone and tear shit up...but it's like I'm taking steps back and just watching myself in a video game or something. Hard to explain. My mind is probably fading...fuck it. But I'm still going to push forward, regardless of my past and make the goddam best of it as possible. Just got my Bachelor in April. Now I'm working on my physical health, with that comes better mental health as well. I always figured around 40 I really need to crack down on being the man I need to be. No fucks Givin. Doing it don't care. I do love your conversations, very entertaining. Keep it up, and keep your head up always!

When I saw them here in Australia in 96ish, at Selina's at Bondi Junction in Sydney, I remember Al coming out to play 'Supernaut' for the encore, draped in an American flag .....it was such an iconic scene. He was backlit and steaming lol. It's a snapshot memory that I will never forget. I dunno if he'd still do that (the US flag thing). Still one of the best shows I've ever been to. He's letting his TDS get a bit on the nose these last few albums....but then again, he loathed the Bush's and that helped create some of Ministry's best music. But someone does need to explain to Uncle Al that antifa (the modern ripoff ersatz version) and Just Stop Oil are cringe and are funded by Billionaires that he should, and likely does, loathe. When groups like that can burn half the country down and the Media STILL protects and downplays them.....they are not the counter culture. And JSO vandalise and destroy art.....so I was shocked when Al wrote them a song. (funded by Gettys and Rockefeller billionaire trust fund brats paying professional activists 25 grand a year, plus all expenses and legal representation ..... sorry, but to me, that lacks grass roots and sincerity of belief ie bullshit). Id never thought id see it, but the current far left resemble the far right super conservative, pro-censorship lunatic evangelical Christians of the 80s and 90s with all the deranged hate rhetoric.....they've got the same look in their eyes. And the political Right now actually resembles the Center and classical Left that I've been my whole life. Its bizarre. Al needs to get out of Commiefornia and get back to Texas. Coz somehow, Centrist and Center Right politics have become the new counter-culture.

Hopium was my real initiation into the ministry world. My dear friend has been a fan of them since 82 or whatever. And I liked some of their stuff but it never really capture me until I heard moral hygiene but HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES made me a Lifelong fan.
