@joey3291, obviously because Xi's iron grip on power is beginning to crumble as happens to all dictators at some point, including Mao himself. Xi had many enemies in the communist party before his rise to power and for a long time they could not challenge him. Once his policies started leading to disaster some began to openly challenge him. His attempt to silence Hu Jintao also backfired.
