Played a similar style out of Reality +, sometimes Public Trail + EotL just wins games!

Has any deck considered playing both Oppo Research and Public Trail in the same deck? Public Trail ofc works better as a game enter, but Oppo Research seems strong in its own right?

Oppo Research is uniquely difficult to leverage alongside End of the Line. If we small-Oppo, the Runner has a whole turn to simply clear a single tag. That's super easy. If we big-Oppo, they have a turn to clear three tags. Clearing three tags is definitely expensive, but if the Runner can't afford to clear three tags, they probably can't afford to duck the Public Trail in the first place. I think Oppo would be more relevant if we had extra single-tag punishment in the deck, like Retribution.
Strangely enough, if we want to inject another tag delivery system in to the deck, I'd first try out Threat Level Alpha.

@@MetropoleGrid thanks Andrej! I’ve never seen Threat Level Alpha before. Seems like it’s a more expensive Public Trail (3c, double click, Trace 1 compared to 4c, single click, fixed trace 8) but seems more flexible

@@somefishhere I have done it in R+. It's nice to have both options, sometimes, and R+ makes playing Oppo easier in either method.

I wonder if you can get away with less copies of the kill combo and just keep it as intimidation. I guess an Anarch player could trash a part of it or they pressure centrals enough to realise you don't have it and suddenly they no longer respect it. But you seem to not be struggling to find them and I can see multiples bricking if you're just trying to play regular. Maybe you can trade a copy of End of the Line for the Retribution so you can choose when you score the Project Atlas.

As the Modernism Corporation, our main gameplan is to play as fast and loose as possible with the "insurance policy" that we can flatline an overeager Runner. Sure, some Runners might respect that threat and slow down, but others simply won't. Furthermore, once we're on game point, the Runner can't afford to respect the impending flatline combo, and they have to hope we just don't have it. I think for both of those reasons, we should make our kill combo as consistent as possible.
That being said, I think playing a single copy of Retribution is great idea! However, I'd probably drop a copy of Angelique for it, and keep the meat damage combo as focussed as possible.

I personally dislike damge as a win condition. I like it as slowdown but never much cared for decks that plan on using it to win.
To be fair, in this decklist its more like a backup but ive seen many a deck who fully plan to just.... not play the core gameplay loop.
Its like Mill or Toxic in Magic (and yes I know its "MiDTiEr and not that good".
But ive won/lost plenty of agenda based games and almost every time I find myself impressed or satisfied. Kill decks are just..... boring. As or against.

@@Sz4r1ej Definitely between now and Worlds. My guess would be after the data from Continentals/Intercontinentals comes in. So, hopefully late July or early August?
