Katelyn Tuohy is so awesome! I have been watching this athlete and praying for her success. She is special and precious person and I hope her all of the best.
She may not be number one in the nation. But she is for sure top 3-5 runners in 1500, 3000, and 5000. On a good day, she is number one. In my book, she is such a great champion. If she is running I want to watch the video as soon as it is available. I can't go to any of the events she competes in for health reasons. Nonetheless, she is a blast to watch. How she blasted through at the ACC 5000 was GREAT.
I love to see the light that shines in young people. Tuohy reminds me of a gifted young German lady called Sina-drums here on RUclips. Both very talented and driven.

Great interview. Asked excellent concise questions, then got out of the way and let the athlete talk. Some other interviewers should try this, instead of doing all the talking while the athlete dozes off.
I'm sure its been very stressful, just transitioning from high school to college even without running is stressful enough but then add the pressure of being a top notch runner and it goes up even more. She's done a great job balancing it all and I hope that continues!

Loved it when she said - in high school I just pushed it from the moment the gun went off to win the race. Like a Jack rabbit out running a fox. 🤣 Now she will learn strategy. She will win every race!!! If she was a race horse, I would bet money on her for every race. 😊.

Oh STFU, after less than two years (most of it injured), with the Outdoor T&F Championships still pending, she’s already a 5-time First Team All American and a member of the reigning XC National Championship Team. Jealous much?
Wtf are you smoking? She only missed August through December (5 months) after having knee surgery just before arriving at NC State. In her 2nd year, her team won the national championship in cross country, and now (since your comment), she's won the national championship in the 5000m outdoor.
Hopefully we won't see so much HYPE over her in the future. The attention she got from all the media groupies (young men making fools of themselves) is not healthy for her or the other women in the sport. They are too young to handle all the attention. Her teammates deserve the same equal treatment.
It is not HYPE, katelyn was and is popular simply because shes fast, pretty and she was always winning and breaking records at such a young age and till now. People support a team and also they will have a favorite runner and people tend to like the best runner. She is very humble and just works hard, she is fast and continuous to improve and is very humble.
