Strong women are definitely empowered women. I think prioritizing health and fitness are important. It's not just for women, but for men as well as queer people and people of other minorities. Basically I mean all people. Losing weight or keeping yourself healthy and fit all the time aren't that easy to keep up with. You've got to have self-discipline each step of the way.
I recommend get in the gym, the machines have low weight settings, and usually have a picture on the side that tells you which muscle it works out. And theres so many other girls that can help you, or even guys are pretty friendly and helpful. When you pass that stage of feeling less fragile, you're gonna feel great!

Some of them were doing conventional deadlifts while others were sumo deadlifting. For those who don’t know sumo deadlifts have your legs spread out further than shoulder width which has you closer to the ground creating less full range of motion.

@@DarkestDesires93 You don't have to start with 2k calories immediately, you can work your way up day by day, increasing the amount. I'm currently at 250 if anyone could help me get to 300 that would really mean a lot thank you all so MUCH 🥺💝
i didnt expect to cry through this whole video. the girls creating a supportive community really moved me
u know damn well u didn't cry

thats so weird
This video made me so happy, they were all so encouraging, supportive and I love how they gave everyone the chance to talk about their own journey.

The way they were encouraging each other and being so supportive, while feeling empowered as an individual and as women got me sweating in my eyes fr
As soon as I saw a girl with an oversized tee I knew she was the strongest.
Why??
@@Sweetmemories0000 basically everyone wears it at the gym, to hide there muscles since its baggy
@@kevfit8297 ohh but why to hide muscles?
@@Sweetmemories0000 basically when you go to a gym with powerlifter most of them are in sweat-shirt or oversized tee, bc they work on their strenght so they care less about aesthetic and showing their physique. Or at least in my gym.
@@leonieaicardi Oh this is new to me. I thought people who go to gym liked showing off and flaunting their body.
Everyone was so wonderful, positive, and supportive in this video!! I loved this💞

so surprised to see Cass! met her at a career fair once and she was so nice. this is a great group of diverse women, perfect casting Jubilee well done
What was she doing at the career fair??
I love how they were all cheering and shouting for each other, so many wouldn't have done that 🥺
This is so much better than ranking attractiveness
I love how supportive everyone is, so this was genuinely very nice to watch!!

the support of these gals all screaming their support is so wholesome. i wanna deadlift with them so bad.
I don’t lift AT ALL, but a lifter who had an eating disorder AND a lifter with cerebral palsy in the same video? I feel so SEEEEEEN. ❤

Well said! Staying fit and having a healthy lifestyle shouldn’t just be a choice, it should be a necessity in the minds of everyone.
Feminist
Well said! Btw men are better

omg i love this! they're all so supportive and encouraging! we love to see people supporting each other
i thoroughly enjoyed this!!! i'm a very fragile female, gets fatigued easily and not strong at all. watching them lift gave me such a rush!
I recommend get in the gym, the machines have low weight settings, and usually have a picture on the side that tells you which muscle it works out. And theres so many other girls that can help you, or even guys are pretty friendly and helpful. When you pass that stage of feeling less fragile, you're gonna feel great!

Honored to have gotten to cast this incredible episode. I’m so proud of each of the women up there!! Y’all are amazingggg 💓💓💓
Great work Helen, I enjoy these videos :)
The best Jubilee video I've seen. Really positive all around. They should seriously lift together all the time. Imagine the progress they will make with all that positive energy. Go girls!
My favorite part in this video was seeing them supporting each other.

It has to be the first time I saw women support and cheer each other in one of these videos
Geneva deserves an award for opening up like that. She seems so strong and confident and I envy it❤
all of them are so sweet omg😭😭 the way they were all so positive and supporting of one another was so cute, it would be cool to see some of them in more videos later down the line:)
I adore the teamwork between the women through sharing their stories. It shows that they are learning their motives.
Great timing! I just got a gym membership last week and I've been considering deadlifting. As a very tiny woman, seeing these fellow women who are nearly the same size as me is very encouraging!! I don't have a lot of serious experience in the gym, but I've been going thru a tough time mentally and I know deadlifting would be a great outlet with all the time I have.
I cried so hard seeing these amazing women empower each other! Thank you ladies for encouraging me and showing me that I CAN get over my anxiety and do this.. And of course, thank you Jubilee for giving these women a chance to shine and encourage girls like me who want to start doing this! 💛
Hire a personal trainer for a few sessions to help with your squats and deadlifting. Form is super important and you don’t wanna injure your back.
@@ethannaka1822 as my coach once said "if your back hurts while lifting, you're doing it wrong."
The lifting episodes are literally uplifting. Love to see them all supporting each other!
Some of them were doing conventional deadlifts while others were sumo deadlifting. For those who don’t know sumo deadlifts have your legs spread out further than shoulder width which has you closer to the ground creating less full range of motion.
Somehow this video made me emotional??? So nice to see all these women being positive with one another and supporting one another. So strong and inspiring!
I would loveeee an all women gym that has lifting sessions like this . How dope . How empowering .

"How empowering"
Yeah. To take up space as they stand in front of a mirror, snapping twenty pics for their social media profiles, ten minute workouts focusing on mirror muscles optional?

Usually these ranked videos go sideways and people end up insulting each other but it was a surprise to see some people move themselves down in ranking or encourage and uplift others :)
The way they're gassing each other up is literally everything!

BRE is probably the strongest. She was using double overhand and her last rep looked too easy
And they ranked her last thinking she was the weakess
@@dimexy she is. You determine strength by how much you lift compared to your body weight. The other girls were a lot lighter and put up very decent numbers.
@@brianmartinez3946 she’s clearly not the weakest. The last lift she did looked easy to her… I think she could’ve did 315 too
@@dimexy no the closest she can maybe get is 275 and even if she did 315, the other girls are a whole lot lighter so they are stronger.
@@brianmartinez3946 u clearly did not see her last lift. They put her last Bc they thought she wasn’t strong based on her weight. Did u not see when she first lifted they were surprised? If she kept going she most likely would have did 315. Be fr 💀

I literally loved this, brought tears to my eyes seeing so many supportive strong women working together
seeing everyone encourage bre was so nice, and all of them being genuinely happy for each other was great too
For any ladies on here considering lifting heavy or powerlifting, DO IT! It’s a great path to wander down if you’re looking to stay focused (in & out of the gym) & to push yourself! Sounds cliché but powerlifting has taught me valuable lessons of life like you’re a lot stronger than you think (mentally & physically). Find your tribe, chalk up & get after it!
Hey, Thank you for the advice, now you got me considering starting it haha. I've been craving to find something that could change my lifestyle up a little bit. Im into boxing and dancing so this should be fun and also bring me energy, so might as well
@@MelanieMN I also heavily recommend bodyweight training and calisthenics, can be done at home or anywhere outside aswell! ^^
Would love to try it and build muscle but I'm small, and it's hard to eat 2000 calories a day, I read online that if you are underweight you are supposed to have a surplus of calories to burn off
@@DarkestDesires93 You don't have to start with 2k calories immediately, you can work your way up day by day, increasing the amount. To start gaining energy I'd recommend walking a lot daily and try out some light exercises. Being active through the day increases your bodies energy level in general. I'd also recommend educating yourself on proper nutrition if you're actually underweight, cuz healthy fats and so on might help you gain weight if that's what you're lookin for
