    I laughed so hard just from these clips! Shemp is without a doubt, the most underrated Stooge.
    Most people go on about Curly, but Shemp has always been my favorite.

    To the person who wondered why Shemp never married, I've got news for you-he was married for 30 years, starting in 1925 and ending with his death in 1955. They had one child, a son Morton, who was born in 1926 and died in 1972 from cancer at the age of 45.

      In Curly’s biography by Joan, there was the family tree that where Morton had two daughters.

      The Farrelly brothers are Stooge fans and made the modern film in 2012 so it makes sense that they used a plot in one of their films.

    • @HooDatDonDar
      @HooDatDonDar 2 года назад

      “Leave us leave, my sweet”.
      There was a comedy trope at the time, that uneducated people would say ‘leave us’, instead of ‘let us’. You find it in Damon Runyon ‘ ‘Leave us not be hasty’, I say to the citizens at Mindy’s’.
      Shemp is looking for comic effect by using the word in both its incorrect and correct usage in the same sentence.
