I really appreciate the fact that they have a tall person reviewing/sitting in these vehicles; really helps to get some kind of idea as to how they would fit a 6'4" person prior to going to the lot. Hate to be all googly eyed over a vehicle, then climb behind the wheel only to be taken out at the knees.
Great Video on the F-150! I was just able to buy a 2014 Ford F-150 Limited 4WD in 2023 and I am just starting to learn about all the features this beautiful truck has to offer! I wish Ford had a Class to teach you about the vehicle and how everything operates!
I just got a 2011 platinum model with the 6.2 liter V8 and love it. Very luxurious and still allows me to haul anything I need.
Still got it? I just bought a used 2011 XLT with the 5.0 V8 125k miles. My first real truck I'm pumped

much appreciation for this video. I've come across several videos from this channel before when looking at specific vehicles (congrats on that btw) and now, after watching this one, I'm subscribing to the channel. I learned a lot about the various trim packages and engine options of the F-150 through this video. It's clear to me that this channel has a healthy focus on putting out good stuff for folks, like me, who are interested in the latest Ford products. Great video. Very informative and quick paced. I like the fact that you were honest about some of your dislikes of certain vehicles. People know when you're being fake, you weren't, you were honest. That goes a long way. You and your cameraperson were on the same page, this made for a nicely done, well balanced video. The only suggestion i have is that you may want to reference a few prices on these vehicles. Also, if you can wait until the weather is better, that goes a long way. Truly a great job, keep up the good work. I look forward to more videos from you.

Yeah, that's funny -- I just got my '14 Limited in Silver, and as soon as I saw it, I LOVED the blue interior! I was actually looking for a Lariat, but this was love at first sight.

Joe Isabella I bought a race red 2017 Roush Nightmare with the 5.0 super charger it’s a Lariat chassis with a 502a trim package I bought the super cab as to it’s more sportier to me I didn’t get the Hill assist feature in mine or heated rear seats but all other features it came with it’s #37 out of the 101 Nightmare’s they produced in 2017 good luck with your limited I am still in awe with my Nightmare or Lariat however you want to identify it it’s a Ford F-150 4X2

I love my F150 platinum. Hands-down with that eco-boost is the best. With the exceptions. Gas mileage is a little low. But it makes up for it in the ride And comfort of this vehicle.
Now this man is a professional on so many levels. Seems like he never had to stop the camera! I'd buy from him.....

Plenty of options lol I have an XLT but would go with the Lariat out of these three. Dont like the leather in the last one and prefer shiny chrome to the satin look.

This was a very helpful review. I've been wondering what subtle differences there were between the Platinum and Lariat, and why the price is so different. I like the format of this video, and I like that it was a length that allowed for accurate descriptions of products. Some videos out there are too short and manage to cut out a lot of helpful information for all of us visual learners out there. Subscribed!

Between I would go for the Lariat with the two tone black metallic color, beige interior and the Lariat plus package that's my dream truck!!!

Watched this after I bought my 13 limited, didn’t know anything about trims until this lol. Red interior is WAY better than the blue imo, but my truck is black.
Side note: HOW TALL IS THIS DUDE??? The grill of most these trucks doesn’t go to peoples waist it’s usually way up lmao
I have the 2014 lariat 2 tone and love the paint job because is rare kodiak brown 👌 and love my truck
anthony artiaga mine is as well, I searched for almost 2 years to find the Kodiak Brown Metallic/Pale Adobe.
I have one too but mines not 2tone its all dark brown metallic, its nice.

The only thing I don't like with new F150's is the gear shifter. I'd much rather have steering column shifter
@0nes And Zer0s The limited I'm looking at has an "AWD" label on the knob. It is similar the the control trac in the older explorers. I believe There are no special hubs.

Ford should of have gone with a beige color interior and maybe some black stitching for the limited version because I think that's the color that matches the best with all the colors available, blue like you said does look kinda awkward on a truck even if its a premium trim and thanks for sharing your personal thoughts on the differences in the trucks plus it sounds like you do know what you are talking about!!!

I like the blue leather in the Limited. Isn't the blue dedicated to the Ford logo? This guy shure let us know of his displeasure. That's a real good way to sell your high end vehicles ;)
F-150 has come along way. During these years I had a Ram and it offered the most. Now I own a 2016 F-150 and it offers the most.
Still the best generation F150 ever made
I cant decide between a Ford F150 Platinum or a GMC Sierra Denali or SLT, or a Dodge Ram Limited hmmm or the price used F150 wins though
I saw both and I went for the f150 lariat, way way better.
My top 3 choices
1. F-150
2. Ram
3. Sierra

The fact that if the locking differential can be damaged if left pulled out is unsettling, going to test drive one tomorrow morning I checked out yesterday. XLT package, be nice if wheel telescopes. Has the Coyote in it.
On the limited u should be able to choose what engine u want in it and what color interior u want.
It's like u are forcing your customers to exept it as it is or don't buy it.
At the premium price u want for the limited. U should be able to choose. Pluss it should be fully loaded with every option.

+TERRY LZ-MARTINEZ If you are talking about this body style, it is because the FX4 is its' own trim level (its a sportier version). The others have 4x4 because they are a different trim level but are four wheel drive.

Great video! I agree with you on the Limited. I guess Limited means Limited Choices. I would like to see more of the color choices available. I would also like to know about the rear window options. The mytouch is being phased out so hopefully they will take your advice about the buttons for the seats.
Love that limited but kind of a rip off to actually get less for more money over the Lariat. The Limited is still a beautiful truck and great replacement for the Lincoln Mark LT.

My dad has a 2012 lariat that was my grandpas the only thing it does not have is the screen but its got back seet dvd things and a screen in front of the steering wheel 🛞 when im old enough ima drive it
Why does it say "pull" with the same locking differential symbol on the side of the switch for the FX4? So both Platinum and FX4's have a rear locking differential?

You didn't cover the king ranch. we just picked up an 09 king ranch and freaking love it. we are not ford fans at all we make the typical ford jokes and come from family's with Chevy and Dodge. we saw the king ranch in our price range and had to buy it.

At what point in the 2015 model year the those circular vents get swapped out for the more "squarish" ones that are in the ones I'm seeing on dealer lots now?
