They make it sound like a special product but in reality they are just catching up to other airlines… still can’t beat the ANA suites
The Aria Suite looks amazing. I’ve always preferred Business Class seats with a closing door, similar to Qatar Airways’ Business Suites, or British Airways’ Club Suites. It gives me a sense of privacy and security while I’m sleeping.

Cathay Pacific Pacific is retrofitting its current fleet to take it into the future. This could be good. I think we all have to admit that CA skipped a beat, if not dropped the ball , amongst all the goings on of recent times.
So, I'm willing to give CA another try. If nothing else, I love the idea that I don't have to slot my feet into a tiny cubby hole like their obvious competitor on BC flights around East and Southeast Asia.

I just took the economy of Cathay from Hong Kong to San Francisco. It is a 12 hours flight. The plane is beautiful and the bathroom is so big. But one of my suggestion is the seat. It is not comfy. I was setting in a very strange posture. I am 5’3”. a normal size of Asian woman. The seat can’t fit me well in any position. My head was forward and my back is curve in a very awful way. Other than that, the whole experience was great. Thank you, Cathay. One of my favorite airline.
Any thoughts on initial routes? I think HKG-LHR would be high in the list!

Eco seat on my flight LHR-HKG extremely uncomfortable. As this video shows, they only care about premium cabins which makes sense as eco seats do not generate any profit really. Please, at least provide a decent pillow so our lumbar spine doesn't need physio after 10hr flight in economy...

When will these seats go onto your a350 fleet?
Most likely, no. The a350s are considered newer aircrafts and won't need much refurbishment- except for the IFE.
@@studioMMS The 777 and A350 share the same seats, on their Business seats right now. Yes it is unlikely, but what if?
@@voidy_yt The business class from A350 is actually the upgraded version of the current B777 business class, with a newer ife and bit more features. Those seats are still to new for getting a renovation, so the Aria may not go onto the A350 atm

Do you mean CX890/899? If yes then it can help out the JFK-HKG flight CX843/845. Both do feed to CX907/906 to MNL 920/921 to CEB from HKG. Easy solution is have the CX899 plane do CEB then have CX843 plane do CX907 to MNL.

when i lost my luggage moving
home from NYC because the check in personnel forgot to tag my luggage even when she said she did when i saw her again at the gate, it was so hard to get help to find it. i stayed in HK to keep in touch with HK office to beg for help.
and during covid all my
miles expired and when I asked for consideration to reinstate it because no one could travel, the hotline told me they could only reinstate x % of my
miles but recounted the exact miles in the system that CX would not reinstate.
CX used to be my

Most 77W operators have 3-4-3 in Y.
Which is why so many economy class flyers won’t do the 777 anymore.
3 years ago I flew UA and QR business. 2 years ago I flew SQ and CI business. Last year as well. This year too bad I am flying BR business. If i had heard about this id have booked CX. You guys are late with this publication

Long overdue. I think the finishes and features look top of the line. However, the overall configuration is very similar to the current product. It’s not a revolutionary product like ANA’s “The Room” or JAL’s new A350 business suites. They should’ve went with cubicles instead of pods.

I wish you would bring back the old economy class seats that didn't recline back but that slided forward/down instead. This was really "with passenger in mind" - the passenger who is sitting behind!
Those seats were dramatically uncomfortable though, especially in the small footprint of economy- they seem to work better in PE given more space.

@@FlightmikeVideosIt's been a long time since I've last been in those seats, but for me, I think it was something about the padding (or lack thereof) that gave me severe soreness sitting in them to the point that I would fly any other airline's seat just to avoid that pain again.

Sorry but you all have not considered everything from the customer’s perspective. All the business class seats are away from window, many would not like that. I personally was looking forward but will fly other airlines with better seats closer to window.

You see Ana, emirates, American airline, they put 3-4-3 figuration on their B777.
@@Dumpmaster-2055 Saudia, JAL, Thai, Turkish, Ethiopian, EVA, China Southern, and a great many others (including ANA) have 3-3-3.
The 777 was designed to be 9 across, 10 was deemed too cramped for passengers, but could be barely fit in if needed. Airlines did what was best for profit margins, not passenger comfort.

Nothing spectacular. Business class is just their current product but with added doors, premium economy is what other airlines already have and economy, well, nothing much Cathay or any other airlines can "improve" too much on anyways. Sorry but Cathay's just playing catchup here.
10-across seating in economy is unforgivable. The 777 has always had 9, already tight seats and you’ve dared to make it even worse. Shame on you CP, you’re disgusting.
