Its quite ironic as their manager had informed them to speak mildly when they are in the kitchen, but apparently in 2023 may 21, their crew manager forget to remind them about this, and it resulted the news of the year: "Carpet" Incident
I wish I receive such service for my flights between LHR and HKG. Cathay has been non-stop promoting their brilliant service, but the reality is it is getting worse day by day.
Thank you deeply for your service and we are always much appreciated. Especially we always faced lots of huge amount of global purchases orders for feeding a lot of workers in everywhere. We are highly appreciated your help and support in the planes and all the ways of journey.

I think the make up may had played a part. In the first 30 seconds or so Grace looks normal. Later puts on make up and hair pulled up and she looks great.
Providing customer service is a great component in an airline, and that includes customer experience. The earlier they learn that the less incidents like this will ever happen. If you can’t say blanket, you can’t have it😂

That was one long working *day*. Started at 630pm and the flight wouldn't arrive in Sydney until around 8 or 9am the next day. No wonder they crew requires 2 days of rest after that!
I've flown over a million miles, and Cathay Pacific's service is inconsistent. Once, on a flight from Toronto to Hong Kong, it was past 10 PM, but most crew were asleep while passengers were awake. I found this strange. Also, Cathay tends to have more crew members compared to other airlines, but it doesn't mean better service. On a 15-hour business class flight, I got hungry and uncomfortable twice due to long service gaps.
Flight companies require such valuable services in 10 thousand feet because it is really a luxury.And surely it is a true enjoyable luxury. I like Cathay Pacific!

有病, 你這是不懂航空業，國泰怎不好也是本地航空公司，是以本地為基地的，這個地位根本不需要讓給其他外資，再者，假設以你的說法，中國的航空公司經香港中轉飛到其他目的地，那它們會說廣東話嗎? 如果不會，那你干个球？再者，中資航空公司除非價錢極具競爭力，否則在香港沒有市場， 香港特區政府雖然親中，但親中並非香港人本質，大部份港人寧願坐國泰或其他航空公司。所謂一國兩制，河水不犯井水。中資航空如果在香港搞基地，是沒移民潮和經濟數據已經證明香港越依賴中國越融合只會越差。@@天声人語-p8s
17年暑假坐过回国的经济舱，当时有位空姐帮我包过哭闹的6个月小孩，当时因为她帮我抱了几分钟，还被上级训了蛮久，真是对不起啊，希望她现在过得好，不要像上级那样没笑容又不耐烦，当乘客透明。

The supervisor speaks with obvious HK accent. But this particular flight attendant speaks much better English with no accent. I am impressed.

你们广告上的笑容确实很甜，但是在国泰飞机上我一次没体验过，有次（大概十年）从香港飞纽约，我近视眼镜被偷，我寻求帮忙的时候，竟然以会打扰其他乘客为由，予以拒绝，我摸着下飞机，当初后悔到纽约landing的时候没有报警；曾经还见过空服员就把几瓶水放那里，让乘客自己去倒水喝，以后绝不再乘坐，免费都不要，你这样的公司竟然还存在呢，早该倒闭了

国泰现在又把这个宣传影片推陈出新嗯，恐怕还是想挽回点影响吧。不过与其在这方面做小动作不如真抓实干，切实纠正空乘服务的态度。而且我看本次影片里面，即便是去悉尼的航班，服务人员依然是可以提供中文服务的，可是去内地的反而不能提供，这真是让人细思极恐啊。
