As a kid, I’ve always dreamt of having a career in aviation. I’ve always wanted to be a pilot but I don’t exactly come from a wealthy family and I know that flight school can be very expensive. My family has even told me that becoming a pilot really isn’t much of a possibility for me. Instead of being a pilot, my next idea for a career is to become an aerospace engineer and work for Boeing. I hope that one day I’ll be able to fulfill that dream.

Good, it's great that CX is showing the "behind-the-scenes" coverage of a flight. They should do these kind of videos more, to provide the layperson more insight into what a flight involves and reinforce confidence the public has for the airline's professional standard.

The first time i flew with Cathay Pacific i was so nervous but we reached our destination safely. il be traveling avain in December from taiwan to south Africa with this airline. the service is amazing and the pilots handled the turbulences very well

The startup approval scene is different plane from the flight, it is a 777-300er while the cockpit at 3:47 shows the planes registration B-HNF which is a 1997 built 777-300 not a 300er.

American airline pilots are among the best trained pilots in the world.The FAA has strict mandatory required training for all U.S. pilots. I feel very safe flying on any U.S. carrier, including the budget ones like Spirit or Allegiant.
american pilots are the best because most of them come from the military so they are extremely good at getting out of dificult situations. If I had to have one pilot save my life it would be an american pilot. hands down.

As a secondary school students, after doing some research online and in real life, what im planning is similar to what you've done- aeronautical engineering. Then im going for cadet pilot programme. I know it would be hard but i will do all i am capable of doing
If you join the air force then you'll have to fight if there is a war on. This has its own risks. There are some cadet programs that have free training. If you join a major airline the salary is higher then a fighter pilot. So I would go for being a airline pilot.

God didn’t want me to fly. I get goosebumps once i enter a cockpit. Salary wasn’t even something I thought about, not even once. It was the passion, the desire to sit in that cockpit, that beautiful cockpit. I’d been wanting to become an airline pilot since i was 7 years old. It had been my only dream. I’d have given my life for it! Now when i turned 16, i applied for SPL. I was almost there, just a couple more years for my dream to come true! Flying had been the only career i looked forward to. Even if i wanted to look for other careers, my heart wont allow me to. I gave everything for it.. I gave my class 2 medical and turns out i have mild-duetan colour deficiency. It broke me. The doctor told me ‘’you cant fly, ever.” Now its over.
