I've been removing my Doll heads by hand, and I'm always being careful to not break the neck peg. And I also remove the top portion of the peg to head removing more easier.
Awesome review and re-body. I re-bodied my made to move yoga green doll and made her my Yara Flor with her signature beauty mark. Love it! I had the same thing happen to me with the neck peg. Enjoy your videos.
I can't wait until 182 is in my local stores! I have her body donor patiently waiting for her lol. Edit: just got her and tried body swapping. Not sure if I got my water too hot but her lip paint came completely off! Not too happy about that since it's NEVER happened with any of my other dolls.
I got the first dress yesterday at Toys 'R Us No orange ankleboots which I would have preferred but yes that darn old yellow headband was there with a light hot pink cute basket hand bag I also got the cute off the shoulder pale indigo dress with the butterflies and the puffy shoulder sleeves- and yes DDP the cute pale blue mules don't quite match the shade of the dress It came with a cute pale pink t-shirt with a pink butterfly and cute multicolored pinstripe shorts

I remember the Brooke Shields doll from the eighties Brooke said her mom had the doll's body changed 3 times before she was satisfied I saw her and her outfits in stores Never had one but if you like to sew I have McCall's sewing patterns for the doll I made a skirt and busteir but her bust is smaller than Barbie
Have you tried to boil the heads to make it easier to swap the heads? Another doll collector did that and it seemed much easier..I do enjoy your videos, and love the background,
I have done that a few times, but if your head is already soft it doesn’t make much of a difference, like if you have a hard headed doll like Rainbow High then you have to boil the heads to take them off, but Barbie if they are already squishable you don’t have much of a difference
Ha ha ! Looking back at this video, cause I want to get this doll now I think. I've broken pegs like this before, & I think it can be avoided with the hot water soak for at least 10 minutes. At least I'm not taking any chances anymore. I almost ruined a perfectly good mtm body.

I find soaking dolls heads in a plastic bag in hot water for up to a minute helps to remove heads easily!

Argh! When that neck peg broke! I've had that happen to me too. It was good that it was the fashionista body and not the MTM body!
