Let´s Prepare #1: Pleuroceras apyrenum, Jura, Franken

Formation: Lias Delta
Fundort: Buttenheim, Franken
Werkzeug: Pinsel, Skalpell, Druckluftstichel HW-25 und HW-1, Modellbaufarbe,
Gips, Sekundenkleber
Zeitaufwand: ca. 30 Minuten
Pleuroceraten sind in der bekannten Tongrube bei Buttenheim keine Seltenheiten. Allerdings sind komplette, plastisch erhaltene Ammoniten mit überlieferter Spiralstreifung nicht alltäglich.
Bei dieser Präparation wurden der beschädigte Mundsaum und der verlängerte Kiel mit Gips ergänzt und anschließend farblich angepasst.

Der Druckluftstichel HW-25 funtioniert bei diesem Ton echt super , werde mir auch einen besorgen um meine Fossilien mal freizulegen ;-)
