That one is literally like a wave, where he drops low, builds up, hits the top and flows back down to a crazy splashdown. To hear his super deep vocals, check out "Stranger" or "Olimpico". In "Stranger" he covers more of his range than in any other song of his (maybe 5 octaves or more?). I can't stress this enough, you haven't heard anything yet. "Across Endless Dimensions" is on a movie soundtrack. While it's a pretty song, it is not one of my favorites. You definitely want to choose his live performances over his studio versions, they are almost always more epic (in my opinion). A big part of his appeal (other than his amazing voice) is his amazing stage presence. You are going to get a lot of requests from his "Dears"(fan's name), and I hope you take their suggestions on what to watch and which specific performance is better (will save you a lot of time). Dimash is a countertenor! He can go up and down the scale but he is naturally a countertenor. Dimash now speaks three languages. He speaks, Kazakh, Russian and now recently he’s learned English. He sings in several languages. This was the closing song during the credits of a movie. 😊
The movie Director wrote the song (Endless Dimensions) and they couldn't find anyone who could sing it ! Mass search and about to use 3 singers on the one song, still not hitting any of really high notes, and a frustrated producer ripped open his laptop and googled best singer in the world and up popped Dimash ! and he couldn't do it. They were relentless and a window opened. Saw them in an interview and they raved he was a joy to work with. Prepared, professional and spontaneously funny, he kept a focused and relaxed work setting, finishing in record time.

@@lieselmeminger267 I’m trying to find the list. I used to say he has sung in 13 languages (officially on Wikipedia), but another Dear corrected me and provided the list of 15. Unfortunately, it was last year and I haven’t been able to find the list she provided in my comments. I do remember her saying that Spanish and Japanese were the last ones added. Most people say he sings in 13 languages, because Spanish and one other(can’t recall which one) were not complete songs that he performed (just a section of the song). I guess it depends on the person and how technical they want to be about it 🤷♀️.

Hi, thanks for your reaction, always nice to see someone discovering Dimash's talent. As suggested by other commentators, Stranger is probably the most impressive song in terms of range (do not forget to blur the video, otherwise it will be blocked), with Olimpico. Love is like a dream is also one of his most famous song and he begins with a very low range. And then, all his other masterpieces.
Dimash is one a Billion with a B. He was admitted for PhD program in music. He is the Jack of all trades, Master of all. He can rap too. For Deep voice Olimpico and Stranger Youku Chinese singing competition.
It's a bit sad to me, this focus on range. it's one of the many incredible vocal tools Dimash uses when it fits the song, but he is about telling a story and conveying the meaning and the emotional content of a song. He has many beautiful songs where he doesn't showcase his range at all, but they are so beautiful and moving. Dimash is a true artist, not a vocal acrobat.

If you want to hear him switching from deep to high you should watch stranger. My favorite version is the live performance from China. He is much better live than in studio which is why most of his videos are live performances. He has done songs in 13 languages that I know of but he only speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently and is almost fluent in English. He knows enough Chinese to get around by himself if necessary but he isn't fluent yet. You have barely scratched the surface of what he can do. I'm looking forward to watching your reactions. 🙂

Thank you for reacting to Dimash. It's good to remember that Dimash is a vocalist, many say he's the best in the world. He's a legendary singer, not a circus performer. Dimash will always deliver what the song needs, which often means that the song doesn't need "crazy things".
He sings in 15 languages. If you listen to the suggestion of Olimpico I highly suggest you find one with the English lyrics. It is parents sending their child into the world to live their own life. If I understand it right. He sings both male & female vocals.

You've received a ton of info from Dears so I won't repeat any of it. But I wanted to say that you referenced "screaming". I'm not sure if you're talking about his song named "Screaming" because if you are it's probably not going to be what you're expecting because there's no metal screaming in it.
Ogni Pietra has a much longer period of low notes. Also Stranger has some very deep notes. Dimash sings many styles from full opera through to rap and uses whatever notes he needs for each particular song. He has sung in 14 languages, the most recent being Japanese. He speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently and is getting pretty good in English now and some mandarin thrown in. He is very popular in China. He also plays seven instruments, dances, models, directs etc. and he is very respectful and humble.
Born with it, and go to music school and university for 20+ years, and when you`re done with formal training, keep doing vocal training 3 h / day every day :) Throw a bit of swimming in there, for good measure, and you can hold a note for up to 25 seconds in one breath :)) He is fluent in kazakh and russian, still studying english and mandarin, but he has performed songs in 12 languages, including italian, japanese, mandarin, ukrainian etc. His music genre is cross-over, neoclassical, mixing elements of kazakh folk, opera, pop, a bit of rock and rap elements. He hasn`t done metal yet, not a full song, just elements, like a metal-like scream in some performances. That's the one I would have suggested as well. I also think it's important that newcomers understand there are several renditions to most of his songs each with new treatment and varying interpretations that make every song seem different. Just listening to SOS Slavic Bazaar and SOS 2021 Digital Show is one example.

He was trained from he was 5 years old and has university degrees in both contemporary and classical singing. He sings in English, Russian, Chinese, French, Kazakh, Italian, Ukrainian and some other languages. One fun fact: in order to present the song Across Endless Dimentions to Dimash, the composer of the song Pierguseppe Zaia has hired three singers (male, female and female soprano) and these three could not cover all the vocal range of the song! It's on the soundtrack of the film. When asked about the song, Zaia said that it's about the Garden of Gethsemane. After lyrics were written for the composition (under the title "Across Endless Dimensions"), the composer said that the song, for obvious reasons, should be sung by the most beautiful voice in the world. His co-producer started googling for the most beautiful voice in the world, and she quickly came up with Dimash's name. After watching some of Dimash's youtube videos and being mind-blown, she showed them to Zaia, who immediately contacted Dimash's team. Zaia created a demo recording for Dimash to hear the song. You are underestimating the vocal range present in "Across endless dimensions". I've watched and interview with Piergiuseppe Zaia, composer of this soundtrack and director of the film "Creators: the past" where he explained the process of finding the right voice for this music and finding Dimash. He said that they had to hire 3 different singers to rehearse with the Orchestra because of Dimash's wide range. My favourite songs for low register are Your Love ( singing live with Igor Krutoy in a red wine velvet suit), Sinfull Passion, and Stranger. I would also recommend to watch some of his Kazakh songs like Daididau in Bastau concert or Samaltau from Tokio Jazz Festival, also in studio due to COVID. Thanks for your reaction. As suggested by other commentators, Stranger is probably the most impressive song in terms of range (do not forget to blur the video, otherwise it will be blocked), with Olimpico. Love is like a dream is also one of his most famous song and he begins with a very low range. And then, all his other masterpieces.

It's a bit sad to me, this focus on range. it's one of the many incredible vocal tools Dimash uses when it fits the song, but he is about telling a story and conveying the meaning and the emotional content of a song. He has many beautiful songs where he doesn't showcase his range at all, but they are so beautiful and moving. Dimash is a true artist, not a vocal acrobat.

If you want to hear him switching from deep to high you should watch stranger. My favorite version is the live performance from China. He is much better live than in studio which is why most of his videos are live performances. He has done songs in 13 languages that I know of but he only speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently and is almost fluent in English. He knows enough Chinese to get around by himself if necessary but he isn't fluent yet. You have barely scratched the surface of what he can do. I'm looking forward to watching your reactions. 🙂

He sings in 15 languages. If you listen to the suggestion of Olimpico I highly suggest you find one with the English lyrics. It is parents sending their child into the world to live their own life. If I understand it right. He sings both male & female vocals.

Ogni Pietra has a much longer period of low notes. Also Stranger has some very deep notes. Dimash sings many styles from full opera through to rap and uses whatever notes he needs for each particular song. He has sung in 14 languages, the most recent being Japanese. He speaks Kazakh and Russian fluently and is getting pretty good in English now and some mandarin thrown in. He is very popular in China. He also plays seven instruments, dances, models, directs etc. and he is very respectful and humble.

Born with it, and go to music school and university for 20+ years, and when you`re done with formal training, keep doing vocal training 3 h / day every day :) Throw a bit of swimming in there, for good measure, and you can hold a note for up to 25 seconds in one breath :)) He is fluent in kazakh and russian, still studying english and mandarin, but he has performed songs in 12 languages, including italian, japanese, mandarin, ukrainian etc. His music genre is cross-over, neoclassical, mixing elements of kazakh folk, opera, pop, a bit of rock and rap elements. He hasn`t done metal yet, not a full song, just elements, like a metal-like scream in some performances. That's the one I would have suggested as well. I also think it's important that newcomers understand there are several renditions to most of his songs each with new treatment and varying interpretations that make every song seem different. Just listening to SOS Slavic Bazaar and SOS 2021 Digital Show is one example.

SOS is Dimash masterpiece!! SOS is an existentialist song, ups and downs in life, depression and death, when you feel you don’t belong here. Dimash is the Most Skilled Vocalist ever!!! Technically and artistically that’s a fact. His versatility, wide range, stage presence, performance, background, technique, creativity, powerful and beautiful voice makes him all in one 🔝🔝🎤❤️🌹The composer of Across Endless Dimensions is Piergiuseppe Zaia, initially composed this as an orchestral piece for his film, "Creators: The Past". It's on the soundtrack of the film. When asked about the song, Zaia said that it's about the Garden of Gethsemane. After lyrics were written for the composition (under the title "Across Endless Dimensions"), the composer said that the song, for obvious reasons, should be sung by the most beautiful voice in the world. His co-producer started googling for the most beautiful voice in the world, and she quickly came up with Dimash's name. After watching some of Dimash's youtube videos and being mind-blown, she showed them to Zaia, who immediately contacted Dimash's team. Zaia created a demo recording for Dimash to hear the song. It required 3 different singers to make the demo, and even then the operatic soprano couldn't reach the highest notes at the end. Dimash agreed to go to Italy to record this track for the film's closing credits. Sony released Dimash's track last year with a video, using green screen and FX in which Zaia inserted Dimash into scenes from his science fiction film...so lots of spaceships, aliens and such. Dimash released a new video, his own creation/production, as he imagines the song. You are underestimating the vocal range present in "Across endless dimensions". I've watched and interview with Piergiuseppe Zaia, composer of this soundtrack and director of the film "Creators: the past" where he explained the process of finding the right voice for this music and finding Dimash. He said that they had to hire 3 different singers to rehearse with the Orchestra because of Dimash's wide range. SOS is from Starmania. It is about depression and suicide. The original singer died very young- it is worth your time to watch the original video. Dimash’s friend, Kazakhstan Olympic bronze medalist in figure skating, Denis Ten, had been needlessly murdered during a car part robbery before this digital performance. Dimash’s obvious grief is displayed.
His famous performance of SOS when he was 22 at the Chinese “Singer” competition brought him overnight fame.
