He was trained in classical & contemporary music, and is well known for his exceptional widest vocal range. I still browse the music videos of Dimash from time to time to see what still store in there. I’m just wondering how much effort and strength Dimash had invested into it, to reach such a powerful voice and the many other talents that he had. Indeed it is really a great work. How he was able to develop such a heights of his talents is really admirable and worth learning and imitating. And it is much more beautiful because he sang it by heart, naturally and at his heart’s content with joyful disposition. The discipline, dedication and high ideals in pursuing his career the best he can is worth imitating not only in our individual professional fields but also in living out our day to day life. His hard work for years is indeed bearing good fruits in abundance. And so my heartfelt congratulations to Dimash and his family and all others who supported him all the way through as a musician. My other concern whenever I listen to music is that, I usually ask: WHAT MESSAGE THIS MUSIC BRINGS ..? TO THE WORLD..? TO PEOPLE..? Although Dimash music are very good, full of content and meaning but I like most this music, because for me it speaks a message of truth, values and realities of human life. I feel that, it is not just enough to give my thumbs up to like this music, but I’m deeply moved to share something more about the richness and deeper meaning of it. With due respect to the composers, writers and singers of these music for whatever their purpose and intention would be, will always take precedence. The thoughts that I will be sharing below is only the fruits of my personal reflections based on the things that I highly valued and on how I perceived it myself and the message of this song that reaches out to me. I like this music because it reminds me the Truth, Realities and Precariousness of Human Life particularly Suffering and Death) SONG FACTS: The song is from French Rock Opera called Starmania. Originally it was sung by Daniel Balavoine who had a sudden death in a helicopter accident in 1986, who is known of his beautiful voice. Later, it was covered by Gregory Lemarchal, a young French singer who inspired Dimash to sing “SOS d'un terrien en detresse” who at all odds won the 4th series Reality TV Program Star Academy, despite his failing health and became an overnight success in France but had a shorter career, for he died young with his unusual illness of Cystic Fibrosis in 2007 at the age of 23. Recently it was unbelievably covered by Dimash and from time to time Dimash sung it in memory of his great friend Denis Ten an Olympic figure skater from Kazakhstan who was stabbed after a dispute with people who allegedly tried to steal a mirror from his car in his home city of Almaty. He died of massive blood loss from multiple wounds at the age of 25 in 2018. The song has sad lyrics: “a soul’s plea for help or an earthly being in distress” because it is a human being who is in anguish searching for the absolute. MY THOUGHTS AND OPINION OF THIS SONG (REF CCC): Suffering and death is one of the realities of human life. It is important that we should know the basic truth about it, so that it will not cause us fear and distress in our human life’s , but rather to remind us all of our ultimate destiny as people of faith. For me, there are 3 kinds of suffering we experienced in life: 1st suffering that God allows, 2nd suffering which is the results of our own choices and decisions and 3rd is the suffering which is cause by other people to us. In whatever forms of suffering we are experiencing, know that, if it is discerned well it will gain us eternal merit. Note that, it is not important how much and how long we suffer, or who cause us to suffer, but how is our attitude towards it when it comes into our life…? All of these three can be an opportunity of grace that we will grow in virtue, when we accept it with humility, discernment and faith in God. Our usual human tendency is, if we can, we try to avoid any kind of pain and suffering in our life. However we can’t deny also that life is mixed up of many learning experiences both in joys and in difficulties and I supposed we need it both, because it contributes and helps us mature and grow over time in many aspects of life. Suffering and death may seem contrary to our own human thinking or world’s way of thinking but in it, there’s a certain wisdom which is richer and deeper that no one can fully understand. Dimash is a phenomenon from Kazakhstan. He started singing lessons at 5 years old and was found to have perfect pitch. He is University educated with degrees in classical and opera, another in contemporary music, pop and jazz, was a major in Vogel technique. He also completed a Broadway musical master class. On June 18th, 2020 he completed his masters specializing in composition and received his masters with honours having achieved the maximum score of 100%. He has since started his PhD. He currently has a vocal range of over 6 octaves but he is humbly dismissive of this astounding fact and stresses that it is not the amount of both arrange you have but in fact what you do with it. He has won many prestigious awards and is a decorated national treasure in his native Kazakhstan. He has performed songs in 12 different languages. He speaks fluent Russian and Kazakh, some Chinese and is pretty good in English and Is still studying it along with Mandarin which he says is a difficult language to learn but he's doing well with it. His concerts are usually about 3 hours with an eclectic mix of vocal styles and genres. Two other must see singers are Zhou Shen and Hua Chenyu from China. Zhou Shen has a high, feminine voice that often got him bullied in school. If his classmate only could have seen the talent in that voice. As an introduction into Zhou "Charlie" Shen, begin with his premiere performance on the Voice of China singing HuanYan. After this first video, move on to his versions of "Memory", and "Time to Say Goodbye". For something different from him, watch his version of "Ring the Doorbell" and "Da La Beng Ba". Хот я признаюсь меня трогает больше исполнение Грегори Леморшаля, но он пел будучи смертельно больным, это другая эмоция. Я считаю кощуством сравнивать Димаша и допустим Леморшаля. Я равнодушно отношусь к творчеству Димаша, но мой язык никогда не повернется сказать, что он без души поет, технику только свою демонтирует. Просто часто такое мнение слышала, удивляюсь, читала агрессию фанатов, даже сама попадала. Я их понимаю , что Димаш поет с огромной душой да еще и техничен, как никто. Although this is the song that got him noticed this is not the performance that started it all. His performance of "SOS" (this song) on the Chinese singing competition "I am a Singer" is the one that started it all. That version sometimes gets blocked by RUclips when trying to do a reaction video to it. I would recommend watching that one at least for yourself because it does have some slight differences and in my opinion an even better version.

ARTIST FACTS: DIMASH KUDAIBERGEN is a Kazakh singer, songwriter, & multi-instrumentalist. Born in Aktobe Kazakhstan, Central Asia: May 24, 1994. He was trained in classical & contemporary music, and is well known for his exceptional widest vocal range.
I still browse the music videos of Dimash from time to time to see what still store in there. I’m just wondering how much effort and strength Dimash had invested into it, to reach such a powerful voice and the many other talents that he had. Indeed it is really a great work. How he was able to develop such a heights of his talents is really admirable and worth learning and imitating. And it is much more beautiful because he sang it by heart, naturally and at his heart’s content with joyful disposition.
The discipline, dedication and high ideals in pursuing his career the best he can is worth imitating not only in our individual professional fields but also in living out our day to day life. His hard work for years is indeed bearing good fruits in abundance. And so my heartfelt congratulations to Dimash and his family and all others who supported him all the way through as a musician. For me as a public listener it counts a lot the personal disposition of the artist and the good content and message of its music.
The fact that, he is able to sing his music at maximum or more than 6 octaves with ease and comfort in different languages and in various voices is really amazing. But some others also cannot handle and cannot even believe the power, the strength and the heights of his voice…and they said Ooh… is Dimash human..? Alien..? Etc, I think It’s just a natural reaction that people wonder and be surprise by it or cannot even believed it at all, it’s because it is beyond human expectation.
I believed that Dimash 21 year’s cultivation of his voice and talents is no tricks and no magic at all; though he is gifted by God with grace for music but his years of hard work of practice and experiences proved it to us and to the world … that indeed it is possible. My other concern whenever I listen to music is that, I usually ask: WHAT MESSAGE THIS MUSIC BRINGS ..? TO THE WORLD..? TO PEOPLE..?
Although Dimash music are very good, full of content and meaning but I like most this music, because for me it speaks a message of truth, values and realities of human life. I feel that, it is not just enough to give my thumbs up to like this music, but I’m deeply moved to share something more about the richness and deeper meaning of it.
With due respect to the composers, writers and singers of these music for whatever their purpose and intention would be, will always take precedence. The thoughts that I will be sharing below is only the fruits of my personal reflections based on the things that I highly valued and on how I perceived it myself and the message of this song that reaches out to me. I like this music because it reminds me the Truth, Realities and Precariousness of Human Life particularly Suffering and Death)
SONG FACTS: The song is from French Rock Opera called Starmania. Originally it was sung by Daniel Balavoine who had a sudden death in a helicopter accident in 1986, who is known of his beautiful voice. Later, it was covered by Gregory Lemarchal, a young French singer who inspired Dimash to sing “SOS d'un terrien en detresse” who at all odds won the 4th series Reality TV Program Star Academy, despite his failing health and became an overnight success in France but had a shorter career, for he died young with his unusual illness of Cystic Fibrosis in 2007 at the age of 23.
Recently it was unbelievably covered by Dimash and from time to time Dimash sung it in memory of his great friend Denis Ten an Olympic figure skater from Kazakhstan who was stabbed after a dispute with people who allegedly tried to steal a mirror from his car in his home city of Almaty. He died of massive blood loss from multiple wounds at the age of 25 in 2018. The song has sad lyrics: “a soul’s plea for help or an earthly being in distress” because it is a human being who is in anguish searching for the absolute.
MY THOUGHTS AND OPINION OF THIS SONG (REF CCC): Suffering and death is one of the realities of human life. It is important that we should know the basic truth about it, so that it will not cause us fear and distress in our human life’s , but rather to remind us all of our ultimate destiny as people of faith. For me, there are 3 kinds of suffering we experienced in life:
1st suffering that God allows, 2nd suffering which is the results of our own choices and decisions and 3rd is the suffering which is cause by other people to us. In whatever forms of suffering we are experiencing, know that, if it is discerned well it will gain us eternal merit. Note that, it is not important how much and how long we suffer, or who cause us to suffer, but how is our attitude towards it when it comes into our life…? All of these three can be an opportunity of grace that we will grow in virtue, when we accept it with humility, discernment and faith in God.
Our usual human tendency is, if we can, we try to avoid any kind of pain and suffering in our life. However we can’t deny also that life is mixed up of many learning experiences both in joys and in difficulties and I supposed we need it both, because it contributes and helps us mature and grow over time in many aspects of life.
Suffering and death may seem contrary to our own human thinking or world’s way of thinking but in it, there’s a certain wisdom which is richer and deeper that no one can fully understand.
Suffering reminds us the real fact that we are all fragile human beings; that we are limited and we are not God.
Sufferings are human reality and consequences of sin that affects us all. It helps us see the real worth and value of things and meaning in life. It sharpens our awareness that this earth is not our permanent and true home. We should remember that we are only strangers and pilgrims on this earth”.
Suffering purifies and refines us of any life’s superficiality into an authentic one. Though no one really is actively searching for suffering in his / her life, but honestly truth compels us to admit that sufferings do have a great value in our life and by experiencing it personally in reality, you will never be the same person. But through the original sin that enters human lives, our nature has been wounded, and is now subject to suffering and death.
Death for us is a frightening mystery because we are being stripped off of all our attachments to this world; our body lies corrupt; our immortal soul goes to meet the Lord. We will see the whole truth of our lives. Death creates in us a feelings of fear, separation, sadness and pain.
Many times we evade this reality and we try to question and even argue with God why…? But all our efforts failed because whether we like it or not at the end, we all die. Death comes in our life anytime anywhere. No material things, good health, young age can guarantee of its extension. The truth is… in front of death we are all poor and powerless.
If this life were the only one we had, death would definitely be the great tragedy. Death is such a peaceful, joyful event in our life, if we die reconciled with God and at peace with others as well. Death is unknown to all of us, therefore, it is best that we should prepare at all times.

👉 This is the song of the songs for Dimash and us, his Dears (This is what Dimash calls us fans.) This song comes from the famous Canadian-French rock opera 'Starmania' 1978, well known in French-speaking countries) and is one of the most difficult songs to sing and made Dimash a mega-star overnight.
In 2017 Dimash received a wild-card for the competition “The Singer” in China. He was the youngest participant of all time (22 years) and the first non-Chinese. Only professional, award-winning singers take part. Nobody knew or hear Dimash before and he also had to start first... and after this song Dimash captured the hearts of millions of viewers overnight. The next day, bodyguards stood at his door.
The competition consisted of 14 rounds, over 4 months. The jury consists of 500 spectators. With up to 1 billion people see this tv-program, that's generated international interest. The performances were uploaded to RUclips... and so, we became Dimash’s Dears.
The Chinese organizers planned that Dimash would survive two episodes of the competition and go home again. They didn't really believe in him. But Dimash came, sang and stayed... for the next 3 years in China... but he only finished second in the competition because he's not Chinese (conditions have changed: The next year, Jessie J. won).
👉 A few months later Dimash sang this song here, as a guest of honor at the opening ceremony of the competition 'Slavic Bazaar 2018'. (He himself will no longer participate in competitions.)

Dimash el mejor cantante del mundo!
Dimash is a phenomenon from Kazakhstan. He started singing lessons at 5 years old and was found to have perfect pitch. He is University educated with degrees in classical and opera, another in contemporary music, pop and jazz, was a major in Vogel technique. He also completed a Broadway musical master class. On June 18th, 2020 he completed his masters specializing in composition and received his masters with honours having achieved the maximum score of 100%. He has since started his PhD.
He currently has a vocal range of over 6 octaves but he is humbly dismissive of this astounding fact and stresses that it is not the amount of both arrange you have but in fact what you do with it. He has won many prestigious awards and is a decorated national treasure in his native Kazakhstan.
He has performed songs in 12 different languages. He speaks fluent Russian and Kazakh, some Chinese and is pretty good in English and Is still studying it along with Mandarin which he says is a difficult language to learn but he's doing well with it.
At 22 he was invited as a wild card to participate in a Chinese singing show for professional singers. The show catapulted him to relative stardom worldwide and he became a pop superstar in China.
He is also famous in Russia for his neoclassical work with famous Russian/Ukrainian composer and arranger Igor Krutoy who came out of retirement to collaborate with Dimash. He has written songs for Dimash and arranged previously composed music specifically for Dimash. He is often at the piano for many of Dimash's performances. Dimash has since introduced pop songs in Russia as well.
His vocals range from a rich low baritone to extremely high soprano notes. On at least one occasion he has Hit a D8 in whistle tone for 5 seconds with vibrato.
He was on a solo world tour when the pandemic struck. His concerts are usually about 3 hours with an eclectic mix of vocal styles and genres.
He was born into a musical family and both of his parents are famous singers and musicians in Kazakhstan, his mother being an operatic soprano. He was offered a position in the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turn this position down to pursue his own path in neoclassical and contemporary music.
He's a multi-instrumentalist, competent on 8 instruments including piano, drums and the native Turk/Kazakhstan two-stringed instrument called a dombra.
As of May 24th, 2021 he will celebrate his 27th birthday. He is most widely known through his live performances that has released several albums the first one going platinum in 37 seconds and triple platinum in less than an hour.
It has been recognized that his high notes are not whistle tones but head voice. Dimash rarely uses his whistle register but when he does it is spectacular. He has many millions of fans worldwide which he has named his "Dears"
He is soft spoken, polite, respectful, elegant and classy, also extremely humble and seldom goes without mentioning his love of country and its history.

Dimash plays a variety of instruments, Dombra which is a two stringed traditional and national instrument of Kazakhstan, piano, drums to name a few. Stapleton is a singer, song writer and guitarist.

Dimash doesn't play a woman with his high notes. He uses them for emotional expression - like Vitas or castrati. Imagine the same song performed just in 1 octave - or with weak falsettos. Or check how it's done by Lemarchal. This is why Dimash does it this way.

Хот я признаюсь меня трогает больше исполнение Грегори Леморшаля, но он пел будучи смертельно больным, это другая эмоция. Я считаю кощуством сравнивать Димаша и допустим Леморшаля. Я равнодушно отношусь к творчеству Димаша, но мой язык никогда не повернется сказать, что он без души поет, технику только свою демонтирует. Просто часто такое мнение слышала, удивляюсь, читала агрессию фанатов, даже сама попадала. Я их понимаю , что Димаш поет с огромной душой да еще и техничен, как никто. Я как антифанат Димаша, равнодушный к его творчеству человек заявляю все кто его так яростно критикуют просто завидуют. Надеюсь мои слова кто-то прочитает, переведет, поймет и услышит.

Although this is the song that got him noticed this is not the performance that started it all. His performance of "SOS" (this song) on the Chinese singing competition "I am a Singer" is the one that started it all. That version sometimes gets blocked by RUclips when trying to do a reaction video to it. I would recommend watching that one at least for yourself because it does have some slight differences and in my opinion an even better version.
