I’m also COVID cautious and the community is very small in my country (Aotearoa). I am lucky to have my boyfriend on the same page, but genuinely could count on one hand the amount of people I know that still mask consistently. It’s so isolating. I got COVID for the first time (that I know of) a few weeks ago and it was rough. I tested positive for 2 weeks and isolated from everyone the whole time; my partner didn’t get it. I’m so grateful there are other people out there with the same values as me, even if they’re all the way across the world like you are! Little by little we’re getting there. Going viral can suck but I am grateful for that video as it introduced me to your content! Love your thoughtful comments on your situation.
I definitely admire how you're able to keep your sanity in being a content creator and having to deal with those hateful comments and just like large amount of notifications in general. I feel like I get overwhelmed by like a single text sometimes lmao. I feel like some people think the internet can be an opportunity to be somewhat anonymous and then act like there's no consequences for their bigotry when actually its not anon!! Its wild how people feel entitled to ask questions & to be rude too!!
