I saw the first episode on YT and thought it was different but very good. Too bad it's not on a regular cable channel. I pay way too much for TV as it is.
My plan is to wait until they are all available on Paramount+, then get a free trial and binge them all. 😁

The reboot second episode was a zany tribute to some of original series episodes. I miss the other original characters though. I wish Niles would return.
Oh my, remember kids, new shows have a learning curve where the writers and actors figure out what's working and what to throw out. Give Frasier a chance and it will get better. It's already better than most of what's on TV.
You're kidding yourself on if you think this miscast, badly written piece of fluff has a hope in hell of getting any better. It's woeful.

The new Frasier is garbage, like all the other garbage on TV, and just like all that garbage, it will go into the 2nd and 3rd season to try and make it work, before they cancel it.
It's enjoyable enough. I love the original "Frasier," but I wouldn't expect it to be the same at this stage in his life anyway. Change happens.
longest running character on tv?
Really like the new show. It takes several episodes to set up the premise of a new show and to get the actor's used to each other. Remember Freddy is a mix of Frasier and Lillith. He's destined to be a bit quirky.
Except that's a fantastical conclusion since Frasier barely ever saw his own son. If he did he would notice he's been five different people 😂. The premise of the reboot is fatally flawed, I'm just watching it die...
I like the new Frazier and it was good how they memorialized Martin as he passed away.I can’t wait for Nile’s and daphne to show up and hopefully bring back Roz as well.
I liked that they named the local bar that Freddie uses “ Mahoney’s”, after John Mahoney who played Frasier’s father Martin! 😊💕
From everything I read, none of those characters will be returning. I’m more than willing to be incorrect though, it feels wrong without Niles at least.

In the original series Bulldog had us doubled up laughing out loud within the first few seconds of him exploding on to the set . Daphne had us intrigued, in her back story ,and laughing at her quirky character. It was obvious her character had loads of development potential. Thats just 2 cast members off the top of my head that none of the combined cast of the new show can hold a candle to and they've had 4 episodes so far , and can't muster a belly laugh between them .

They wear out that laugh track on the new Frasier, the old one didnt have to rely on it, because we were actually laughing.
Should have been left alone, without Niles, Daphne, Roz and Martin it's a no show.

I like the show, it's very funny. I can't wait to live with, comes in and some of the old people that used to work with him on the regular phrases show. It's funny and I like it give it a chance. It's really a good show, fraser
I dare any of you to quote one memorable laugh out loud funny line from any of the first 4 episodes so far ,because there aren't any.
Frasier is still him, but the younger cast are acting like they are in a nickelodeon show, way to goofy comedic and not witty at all. Bit of a bummer because I was excited for the show.
I'm liking the new series so far. It hits all the right buttons for me.

Nuts. I read the video title and had hoped they were recasting the new _Freddy._ Granted, I only saw the pilot, but I really found him, and the actor portraying _David,_ to be so uninteresting or outright bad. However, the _David_ character could've been written poorly. I just found his portrayal forced. Perhaps a different actor could've made the character's lines seem more natural. 🤷🏼♂️
Dang it, I thought the same thing. All the new younger cast reek of Disney/CBS school of acting.

I’ve watched the first three. Freddy has really grown on me and has a few great scenes in episode 3 when Frasier and he have great back-and-forths. David is still a pill, but he’s used more sparingly and effectively, for what it’s worth
I like Freddy more now, especially in this 4th episode. I don't like David's character. He's unnecessary to me.

I saw the first episode and was not impressed. Some reboots are not necessary. This reboot was unnecessary.

I think she meant this reboot with just Frazier is not making sense. It would have made more sense if they did what hbo max did with Friends. There’s no way to reboot Frazier. It was that good. Still watch it every night.

The two episodes I saw, was embarrassingly bad. The original was well written, acted and was funny. The opposite is true for the reboot. All those involved in this show, know better
The reboot is a total disaster. It’s crap.
Not really, it's times better than at least 50%of what's on TV.
It's not succession, but that show is over 😂
So switch off and do not watch it. From my part, it made us restart watching from the beginning. It's perfect.
