Tysm for being openly honest and including the flaws within your review. I’m interested in getting this, but every review I’ve watched, the creator just really gases up the product and not include any flaws it might obtain. I’ve been painting my own nails for a while now and actually prefer it to a salon, and want to make the transition to gel. I think your video helped me decide this might be a good little beginner kit for me. Thanks! 💜
I have to say Wow! This colour despite it being quite a dark colour, and one I wouldn’t have thought would look very good on your skin tone, came out looking pretty Gosh Damned Amazing!!! It really suited you so, so well looking at it on my iPad here!!! I do agree with you absolutely 110% about the patchiness bit, and that going with three super thin coats would put that point to moot. All in all super gorgeous, super informative manicure! Thx a million!😊😍🫶🏽💅🏽💜🤩🥰
Thank you! So for this particular set I used a layer of peel base under the gel for quick and easy removal and only kept it on for 2 days before taking them off. However I have done manicures with LeMiniMacaron in the past, and when I'm going for longevity I will use a Gel Base and Gel Top Coat as well (even though you don't need to with their gels, I would recommend it if you want them to last longer). When I've done it that way, I've had about 1 week with no chips/peeling, but after the week mark I had some wear at the tips and removed them. I am pretty rough with my hands and change my colors often so it was not a problem for me personally.
@theturnonlist when I'm going for longevity I typically use Madam Glam's gel base and no wipe top coat (items that were gifted and I have used several times now). It has worked well for me with proper prep, starting by pushing back cuticles, dehydrating nail plate, and using a gel primer before applying the first layer of gel base
I got this kit for Christmas and for some reason no matter how many times I cure it under the lamp, it’s never cured all the way through and comes off so easily. Any idea what I’m doing wrong?

How long did the polish last before chipping?

Hey :) what gel base did you use then?

I'm sorry to hear your having some problems with it! If the layers are not curing fully it may be they layers are painted too thick possibly?
I used to have the same problem. I was layering too thick. Did 3 thin coats at the end. Worked fine then
