I am not surprised that many people said 'Canada'. I was expecting at least 3. These Rwandans know their recent history as Canada took the leading role of all other nations to stop the civil war that took place in the mid-90's. A UN-role but Canada led the way with General Romèo Dallaire.
The general is our friend ,he is so much celebrated here, but now some canadians are starting to deny the genocide and playing with it, which is dangerous and makes us unhappy to find the Government of Canada doing nothing about it. Peace and love from Rwanda 🤟

I am here in Canada and have never heard of this. Maybe some Canadians of direct Rwandan heritage are doing this to hide some crimes committed by their side? Your average Canadian, however, no.
