Hydro locked, piston, rods...budget LS swap it with a junkyard engine like Ruby and Cleetus. Need to seal with silicone the entire intake. Love the Blazer content, don't give up that easily.
Keith Frazier you don’t have to pull and replace an hydrolocked engine, just pull the plugs and turn the key crank the engine let the plugs dry change the oil and put plugs back in. Ready to go again.

I got lucky when I hydro locked my truck, pulled plugs and spit the water out and it fired right back up and got me home to change the fluids. But I was sweating bullets till I got it running again, I've seen many need a full engine rebuild after bending rods or worse!

When you have the tailgate back end you can open it using the key it wilm pop the hatch and allow for access to the rear cargo area.
Hey mike. If you got water in the intake. Something you can do is drain all the oil. Do an oil change, pull the spark plugs, pull the fuel relay that way no fuel goes to the engine, and crank it. The water that got into the intake will then shoot out of the spark plug holes.
