- Got the tell-tale signs of a failed/failing propshaft bearing? Well I don't know about you? But I couldn't bring myself to spend £400 on a new shaft if the problem could be solved with a £30 part!
So as there is limited information online regarding the bearing replacement, I set out to find out how to do it!
If you are enjoying the series, then why not stick around and look back on all of the previous Range Rover content and projects! I thank you for your support

Brilliant Jordan - thanks for taking the time to put it all together for the rest of us 👍🏻👍🏻
Not a problem, noticed there was no videos on it, so decided to give it a ago, a few thousand miles on, speed runs on the autobahn and a track, she's still holding up!
About to do this so great information here, Ok my friends is doing it for me 🤣😂
Well done Jordan. You had nothing to lose and proved it could be done 👌
Exactly, no harm in trying when you're not paying labour
I took mine out a year ago. Couldn’t find any info so well done. Mine was a pig to split in half.
Thought I best try and help people out, this one wasn't bad luckily
Cracking job , regarding putting gearbox into neutral under the 2 cup holder’s just infront of the handbrake button, remove the rubber mat you will then see a removable door underneath it will be a lever with a red tag on it ,pull up on it gently to engage neutral 👍
Great vid , I’ve done quite a few of these , just to add the bearings will last a lot longer if you preload it , the slotted holes in the mounting are for this , they need pushing forward a couple of centimetres
Thank you, that's handy to know
14:40 hahahah that Hammer is too big for that job but it's working.
Good work dude! That's quite a saving
Never too big 🤣
brilliant job, well presented video ...
Thank you very much
Good job! Myth busted 😂 I’ve posted a link to this on the full fat forum 😎
Thank you, I guess time will tell on success!
Well that went smoothly, eh. Nice one.
Is that a shiny new banner, or have i just never noticed it before? What's next - Rough Restos merch...? 😉
It is a shiny new banner 🤣 maybe one day
Good video. Might be doing this soon😬
Glad I could help
Excellent Video. Did mine but now have a vibration from 55mph to 70mph after fitting. Have taken it off and put back on twice now but still have vibration. Any ideas would be much appreciated. Car has done 125k miles. Thanks
Done plenty of them when I had my Garage , job well done Jordan , how's the Capri progressing
Ideal, it's not :) A mix of social activities, this friggin thing and work has meant i haven't touched it in months, however next week I should be back working on it :) want it on the road before winters out
Good Vlog, and yes I have now got to do mine. As I also have a 4.4TDV8 2012, can I ask were you got your bearing from and part number if possible. I have got on but it’s 35mm and you said yours was 30mm. Thanks for any help you can give.
Thank you, this is the one here www.ebay.co.uk/itm/293139431855
So no joy at the moment as the rear part of the shaft is rusted and stuck, with only 100K on the car. Plus gas and heat but still no joy at the moment.
@@jonathandavey69 Ohh dear, keep going for it!
