Best times I ever had was on a private server back in 2005 cause I couldn't afford a subscription not gonna lie. We were a very tight knit community of players there who all knew each other. I miss it.

I kept getting those often enough that I could throw them on alts and sell a few. Looking like a Chinese Sir wherever I went. Krol blade is another that dropped often enough that I gave it to a hunter alt with assassination blade for dual green blades.

I play on faerlina - alliance side. The farmer gets gold, free transfers it to Whitmane on a lvl 1 toon and sells it there.
No they don't, free transfers have been turned off.... old news.
Did they remove the "at least level 10" and gold cap for transfers? Haven't transferred since TBC, but I remember there being a limit on how much gold you could transfer with. Depending on level irc.

Classic HC on release was beyond epic and atmospheric - for the first 2-3 months and then it fell a part for multiple reasons. The economy was great, it was a zoo everywhere, capital cities during ony buffs were beyond epic. I honestly was just in wonderland how awesome it was and the enthusiasm from everyone.
This was entertaining! I loved HC and recently came back to play HC self found with my buddy and was surprised how many people were playing. Horde is dead though, my first 60 HC was horde on Defias Pillager.

the server I transfered from towards Gehennas, i decided for Zandalar when TBC launched because i saw some RP vids on YT, but sadly months later I preferred competitive raids and parsing then I went to Gehennas, glad you guys still have fun ❤

Even though Lava Lash NA is locked in SoD. The free xfer to Wild Growth means about 25% of our small player base. Use the Lash to farm resources to offrealm to WG or CS, on a level 1 toon.
Locked, the Lash is more a frontier mining town then anything classic lol. Dystopian classic is new for me here on deadworld.

I know that Deviate Delight has become the new 'fresh' realm, but may I suggest that anyone interested in starting a new classic era server try Bloodsail Buccaneers? It was once a thriving community of friendly and helpful people and then HC happened and all of that went away. As of five minutes ago there were 8 players active on Horde side and a total of 24 items on the AH. Give it a shot. And make an Engi, cause I need damn Salt Shaker!
Haven’t played since getting my MC hunter bow at 60 and came back to try Cataclysm… and my hunter is alone on Westfall :( gonna have to reroll on Pagle or spend ~$20 to transfer. Heard they were giving free transfers and it seems I missed it

lol. I only play hardcore now. Scheduled world buffs daily sometimes 2 rounds of buffs, there is a massive community on hardcore.

yeah, and there were way more players on hardcore before Sod... now nobody plays Sod, and hardcore pop is still culled...
I miss hardcore with the boys, genuinely something that had me pumped and excited the entire time, any hard content felt so satisfying to pull off
I think what you missed @Xaryu was that ofc Hardcore has more ppls online in lvling area since harcore is all about it. In SoD noone dies and has to start over again in the low lvl area. So i think there is a reason why Harcore has more players online especially in the leveling times. But SoD will have way more lvl 60 players as Hardcore will have right ? Cool video tho :3

Ahhh ... like the good old days. I once also had someone trade me a good axe and then said give me gold and I didn't had anything back then. Pressed the trade button and then I pressed the trade button and logged off from my character for a month.

The classic era servers probably cant be one server because that would mean that either
A.) All former era players would lose all their characters which would cause outrage in the community
B.) All characters would have to be transferred to the same realm
And I don't think they would be able to handle option B

But if that was me, id be pretty upset as a casual player... Because I play alone too.. I just like playing the game that way, minding my own business. Except for when my one friend comes online.
I enjoy playing solo self found style, but I play with my friend and we help each other grind quests in the open world.
I dont do raids or dungeons either, i just like collecting stuff from the open world, and enjoy taking my time to play the game casually. I am trying to find all the bis gear for each class that is only available from the open world loot table or from crafting items as a goal.
I play on Mankrik classic era server which is a pretty populated on alliance side. At least I have a reason to farm herbs and ores. Because they sell on the auction house pretty quickly for me to eventually buy my first lvl 60 mount.
Really is weird to me that he is farming herbs and ores when there is zero items on the ah tho. Because all u can do is either craft stuff with em with multiple alts, or vender them.
