Balance druid the worst dps in the game got starfall thats it they didn't even get arcane hit iirc the 2pc t1 bonus is 100% more thorns dmg... they have done nothing to make "hybrids come online"

Honestly, I just went back to Hardcore. Hardcore feels more true to a Classic+ experience where it's still the Vanilla game I know and love, but with a twist. SoD is honestly just too many changes for me, it's basically Cata+ class design in Vanilla which was never what I wanted. I'm not a retail hater either, I play Retail, and I love Classic, I'm just not interested in a weird mix of the two. Phase 1 SoD was fun though, but again that was before there were so many changes that the game was unrecognizable.

Yea classes are a bit weird, but cmon. Other than that, the world still feels so gooood compared to cata or other versions. I feel you, OG vanilla is a different feeling. But it couldve been worse than SoD. Personally, I think SoM was the best vanilla iteration ever and I had a blast finishing it untl nax, but no one played that unfortunately. When AQ dropped, we were like 4-5 active guilds on my server left

SoD allready dead. My server died and there was free char transfer window, but the new server crusader strike also died and char transfer cost 25e
It's almost like the seasonal game has high and low points where people take breaks to play other stuff. If you need to convince yourself that the game is dead that's fine but p4 is gonna be hype

The fact of the matter is it was a piss poor marketing decision to have cata and mop mix come out when they did. (maybe mopmix would’ve been fine)
It’s clear as day they had this whole road map planned out.
1. Think of the idea of SOD.
- what is sod?
- we have a faint idea but we will release cata and mopmix around the time people will be getting annoyed, so that way we have more time to catch up on this vague idea.
- ok great!
2. Tell player base at blizzcon something they aren’t expecting. That way they won’t know that we actually have no idea what we are doing, no actual plan based in reality in mind, and we are just pulling stuff out of pocket without ever needing to put in any actual genuine interest into thinking of something good.
3. Gaslight everyone when they call them out for everything.

We all know that SOD is going to suck as it always has, no matter what if the game starts feeling good and fun for all they will do something stupid and break it again for no reason at all! SOD has far too many bad experiences to be worth stepping back into again. Cata has been awesome, no complaints at all. For once since I started playing this game I feel like I can play pvp on any of my builds and have fun because everything feels somewhat balanced, every class has a strength and that is how it should be. If I want to play classic I will play vanilla because SOD is a joke

They wiped fire mage off the board with the rune swap, you cant hotstreak and deep freeze anymore, it makes mage easily the worst class for pvp now, it was already suffering

As a feral, sod was fun but the way they handled p3 was so boring and just felt like a grind with a bad raid that wasn’t even hard, cleared it on my first run and didn’t even want to try it again because it was so boring and annoying trying to teach people common sense

I hope they do another version of SoD in the future, only this time:
- No new abilities. Keep the class balance the way it's been forever now. Maybe a few QOL things but nothing that impacts PVP or PVE balance. Ok, maaaaaaybe a few changes that make certain specs viable that never were before, at the very most, and keep the changes to the talent trees.
- Just focus on creating new content. New quests, new raids, new zones, new PVP events, new items that fill existing holes but don't overpower, etc.
- No phases for leveling. If you do anything, increase the level cap over time for new zones, but that's it.
- Don't change leveling speed. Add new things to it though. Low level raids, more quests to fill out the zones, etc.
- They totally missed an opportunity to do a world PVP event with Hillsbrad Foothills. The players created their own world PVP back in vanilla in this zone. Make it an official thing.
