The stabs should not look like that after being clipped. 4:12 The bottom should be flat at the end, do not leave the little nub on like he did as it will make your stabs still uneven and rattly. This literally doesn't make any sense.
      The springs themselves do not influence the sound of the switch as a whole, and are not supposed to make any sound at all.
      If they ARE making a sound, it's an annoying pinging noise, which is why you lube them (either manually with 205g0 or bag lube with GPL 105).
      The only reason to change the springs is to change the actuation force of the switch.
      How do some springs sound "better" to you than others? Lmao

    • @TheBrandoGR
      @TheBrandoGR 3 года назад

      @@massgrave8x Of course spring ping is due to a lack of lube. but gold plated springs often have a smoother surface than steel springs and thus requiring less. another likely suspect is just manufacturing processes. Sprit likely has a better manufacturing process than the Drop springs and most other steel springs I've used in the past just due to the increase in price. When I say gold plated springs sound better, I mean it's easier to get rid of that ping. Don't say things don't make sense when there are a number of reasons why they might.

    GMK wob is 🔥such a clean GMK set. Great set to get if you want to try GMK before entering a GB.

    • @roboticvenom1935
      @roboticvenom1935 3 года назад

      It's a retarded set to try GMK with since there are loads of other wob sets out there that are still high quality. It's just wob it isn't interesting at all.
      The only reason to buy GMK is for the colors, the legend quality is a silly reason especially since sets that are literally 40$ are already really clean like HK gaming

    • @duncanmattson475
      @duncanmattson475 3 года назад

      @@roboticvenom1935 come on dude you shouldn’t use that kind of language. We are all friends here who enjoy keyboard. WOB is a great set for someone who wants GMK quality but doesn’t want to wait a year. Also some people might like a clean black look. Thats the beauty of custom keyboards everything bout it is you chooses. So stop being toxic and enjoy the Hamaji’s content.

    • @roboticvenom1935
      @roboticvenom1935 3 года назад

      @@duncanmattson475 I enjoy the content lol. The idea of gmk quality is moronic and you're encouraging people to buy black wob as their first set which is a bad idea. The ONLY thing you get is slightly better legend quality which is extremely hard to tell from normal typing distance especially when compared to a JTK set.

    • @duncanmattson475

      @@roboticvenom1935 Okay buddy! 👌You have your opinion and I have mine. Everything is subjective and I like GMK WOB. That doesn’t mean you or anyone else has to like it. I was just say it is the most readily available GMK set. Which makes it nice for beginners who want to try GMK. That is just a fact. If people aren’t interested in GMK or don’t like the color way then they don’t have to buy it.

    let me tell u, my only custom keybored that I have ever owned is the NK65, he makes it look bad... the stabs just need holee modded, I have lubed gateron yellows with a Novelkeys cream stem and lubed with crytox 205g0 with switch films (sorry idk what they are) i have a set of epbt keycaps that only cost 35$ and in my opinioin are perfect, you don't get that crazy "thocc" but it really does sound nice. Im just saying that even tho hamaji makes it sound like u need to spend a lot of money you can get a great keybored for under $150. :)
    ...Btw something i would complain about the NK65 is the weak plastic, now holes that used to hold the screws after taking it apart once, so don't try to take apart the keybored it is just silicone if ur curious, but it will break it and make it creak and that will make u cringe if u don't know how to fix it.
