It was really simple and the 1st time I was happy that I had a deans connection on my Gen8 lol. The software is pretty simple to use as well. The trickiest part is that the install, it isn't in English.
ScottzillaRC yeah they just make it that little bit better. I don’t know if the gen8 has a spare channel on the radio if it does plug the yellow lead into the spare channel on the receiver and that will give you a horn

I just got done running the truck it was fun and with sound hopefully it will help when I'm dragging the camera thru the brush lol. I but an affiliate link in the description if you want to save a few bucks and it would help me out. Of course it may take a few weeks to get you lol
Hands down the best sound kit! I have the dual and two of the ones, I see no reason to buy the dual really. There are a shit ton of sounds, you can hear them from the site/program without hooking the unit up. some people have had problems downloading it cause it's in Chinese at first. Text me if you have a problem with it. Most of the sounds you will never use they suck!!! If you get a 3chan radio you can use the yellow wire for a horn or machine gun lol. Enjoy!

Hi mate & thanks for ur video ! Unfortunely, I tried to install it to my redcat gen9 by following all the steps required and it still doesn't work after the backward step; it doesn't have the final sound to confirm the calibration. Please need some help.

Thanks, It does come with double sided tape. I haven't found a great spot for it in my Gen8 yet. I did tie wrap some of the wire and then just strapped down on top of the battery.
Great vid short sweet to the point I'm trying to install one in my trx4 got everything running but soon as I turn the vechile on the sound system starts then revs to full won't shut off calibrated it exactly as you did any clues cheers mate 👊👍💯
I did some Goolging and couldn't find anything. I have a few friends with your same setup. I will ask around to see if anybody else has seen this before. Hopefully I can find an answer for you.

Hey Paul, not sure what the problem could be. The calibration is pretty straight forward. It really should work with any brand of ESC. Are you sure you didn't miss a step? Sorry I had to ask hehe

It is basically a Y cable, so I would guess series??
Awesome sound.....I can't get mine to calibrate to my transmitter.....I have mine in a kyosho 1970 Charger with 440 hemi sound
