Thank your for the video I get really excited for them. I’m actually Eric Rush I just made up a you tube deal. Not what I’m hear for just letting you know. But as far as performance yes brass has their place if personally find changing ring and pinion gear ratios are awesome. Like under drive the rear axle overdrive the front or both. Major gain uphill climb and especially turns. One reason why I love the trx4’s is being able to unlock the rear axle to brake traction to hold a rear tire down or benefit an uphill climb. -my step son did all brass minus the axle housings and it made a large difference. What I don’t like this is he did the portal covers and it cut down his steering angle quite a bit. And I’m a junky for sharp steering angle. Maybe better ones accommodate the steering angle idk. -I have “two” HW SE’s. There amazing, and have one pro. I don’t care for wheel speed so I like the 1200kv and have one 1800 it’s good to. Great video have a good nigh!
I personally think the high trail is better.I like the longer wheelbase. It's actually a little bit faster. My high trail just has great slow control and I like to drive it slow. Now it has a brushless hobbywing fusion SE it goes away slower and faster now.
It was just a cheap Amazon special, but it is horrible in person. The settings are bad. It makes whining noises a humming sound every time you give it throttle. it is garbag, honestly, save your money. The really good ones are on sale for a ess one around $45 & the ess dual sound simulator around $59 or so. and well worth the money.
I wasn't going to tell you but the fusion se is on back order, it's coming to you as soon as they come in. Ordered it at Christmas but still waiting. As for brass I run almost all Amazon stuff and haven't had much issue. The hightrail, blazer and defender all have brass from Amazon. I could search and find the links, most of what I got is inexpensive and works for me
You're the man. I seen they were on back order so I didn't even miss with it. Thank you so much. When you said something a while back that's kind of what I was thinking. So I've been hesitant on buying anything from hobby wing until I found out what you're talking about. Lol
If your worried about fitment. I went with the amazon route. Topcad and some Chinese bare brass. Most fit the trx4s. Just mixing brands is the issue. Was a easy fix, dermal the casing where they meet. Fixed. Took couple mins, then clean the parts. My 2021 bronco is getting the black coated topcad parts, put them on tomorrow. I also bought the BETU 45KG, servo. I thought you said you ran them? 36kg or? If so, how is the strength and life of them? Love all the uploads🍻🇨🇦
Thanks for the info. I do run the BETU 45KG it does good on 6 volts. Which is what I run most times. I do that just so I don't burn out the small shift servos. Mine are still stock.
Yes, in the ESS brand you can hook to your computer and choose between over 100 different sounds. You can program 2 of them into the machine itself and switch back-and-forth once it's in the vehicle, but you can always change them on the computer again later to other sounds.
I would recommend the ESS one for a fast RC. It sounds better at a high RPM the duel is good for a low RPM But it's not very loud full throttle like the ess one is. I have some older videos with a yellow Camaro with sound simulator. check it out. When it's doing donuts it sounds like a real engine.
@@ezboyrc553 haha.. we leave em at stores they disappear, a lot of women use them for their plants,, but you my friend are putting them to good use… 🤣😂
Good call on camera settings! This one is a lot less shaky than normal. Just curious, are you mounting your phone to your remote or something? I tried that in the beginning of my video making days, and I could rarely get a stable video. Then tried a gimbal, and it just pissed me off. Now I just drive one handed and record with the other. My videos are WAY smoother now. It took a good bit of practice, but now I actually drive better one handed just because I do it so often nowadays. Not at all hating on your videos man, definitely enjoy them, just figured I’d share my experience with crawling and recording and maybe help out a little.
I actually have a selfies Mounted to my controllers each one's different so it makes it a little bit of a pain when I film with other trucks. But a couple of them can you stand out And be closer to the ground.
@@ezboyrc553 gotcha. That’d definitely explain it. Those selfie sticks will greatly amplify every tiny movement your controller makes while recording. Definitely a challenge to keep a steady hand with that kind of setup for sure!
Great fun. Nice RC course
That f****** K10 sounds f****** nasty now I'm so going to get one of those you got some really cool ass upgrades on there
I put the axe 2800kv when my high trail was brand new. its great. I'm thinking samix front diff cover and front bumper mount for brass
I feel the first minute and a half of this video, brother.
I have brass on my high trail and it works great 👍

@@ezboyrc553 So, which one is a better investment - if your not so rich? Used on ebay?
@@ezboyrc553 Thanks for the kind reply.
That cheap 1 doesn't sound too bad.. Got a link for it?

Does that more expensive one have turbo diesel sound?

It doesn't add too much weight on a crawler?
There not very heavy
Thanks for doing this. I'm looking for one for my Baja Rey. It sounds like an fword lol glad you're getting the money from youtube. Take care

Yea man that knockoff sound box sounds just like an 80s video game. Send that back lol
How do I get some stickers? Lol
I need to get some maid. I'm still trying to figure that 1 out. I've had a couple people offered to make some stickers but nothing's ever came of it.
