I may have missed it but Honda has a hole at the bottom of the water pump to act as a ´telltale´ or signal that the internal mechanical seal on the pump shaft is compromised. It acts as a drain that will leave antifreeze on the floor alerting you to the failure of said seal. If that is the case you should not have welded it. By welding it you will ensure the leakage gets into the engine itself. Not sure if that is what you did but make sure everything is as it should be as antifreeze in your engine oil is a bit of a nightmare.
