    Great video. VERY helpful. I'm installing the same top, 2019 RZR xp4 1000. What did you do for side mirrors? Have you towed it with the upper doors installed? Frontwards or backwards on the trailer? Thanks for the video. It made my installation go much easier!

      Super late reply, doubt it'll be of any help now, but yeah it towed fine, but I would ONLY tow it forwards... never backwards. And also make sure those doors are strapped!

    I’m guessing u have to call a dealer on these doors because I can’t find them online . Are these aftermarket ?

      Sorry for late reply, yeah these are Polaris ones, only ones that open like that I know of. Dunno whether they'd still be available or not.

      I’ve been trying to buy these for my 1000s same body as your 900 and there saying I can’t get them is it classified as a trail?

    I need the upper door enclosures to add to my "half doors" for my Polaris Ranger. Any ideas?

    • @RZRsEdgeInMotion
      @RZRsEdgeInMotion  3 года назад

      I'm not too familiar with the Ranger parts, but if the Polaris ones don't fit any better than the RZR ones, I'd steer clear of them. Unfortunately I don't know enough about the Ranger to point you in the right direction, sorry!

    Are you doing a cab heater? I'd be worried about that thing getting all Fogged up on the inside.

    • @RZRsEdgeInMotion
      @RZRsEdgeInMotion  6 лет назад

      Yeah not sure how all that's gonna work out, it's not exactly "sealed", there are gaps aplenty, and when moving I can feel air circulating inside. I've ridden in one with this setup, and had one in the group, and he didn't have any issues, so we'll see I guess.

    Jason, I wonder how the plastic will hold up to mud and sunlight. I am not a big fan of cab enclosures. I would appreciate a follow up video after a few rides .The zippers and mud/dirt don't seem to get along to good. With that being said another great informative video. I am very happy this is one item I won't be adding to my Razr. Looking forward to your ride videos.

      Word is the canvas parts of it are made by Bestop, who make Jeep soft tops. I've actually had a Jeep with one of their tops on it that had a Ford 400 V8 and 40" Swampers on it... never had any issues with it. Time will tell I suppose! Thanks for the comments, ride vids will be coming soon after we get back!

      Great how to videos Jason!! Just a cleaning tip for your soft windows, I used to use to work for a Jeep dealer and we cleaned all the soft top windows with a nice car wax and pledge, keeps em like new and the mud and stuff rinses right off!! Can’t wait to see your videos on the trail!!

      Sorry somehow your comment slipped by, just scrolling through to make sure I didn't miss anyone, and there it was haha. Sounds like something I definitely need to know, can you explain the process to me? Thanks for the heads up!

    How much was the cost

    • @RZRsEdgeInMotion

      I think they were close to $1000. Don't really recommend them, they do not fit well at all.

    I was really bummed when I discovered the Polaris lock and ride roof doesn’t even work with these Polaris factory doors there’s a giant gap at the top someone definitely wasn’t thinking...

    • @RZRsEdgeInMotion
      @RZRsEdgeInMotion  6 лет назад

      Yeah if it wasn't for the need to enter/exit as simply as possible, I would have definitely gone with a different type, like the ones from Trail Armor for example. But asking a kid to enter and exit in a specific way and even then just so when they are just excited to go look at the critter that scampered off is just asking for trouble lol

    If you need all this on a rzr. You should just swap to a Jeep

    • @barharborbasher249

      ben napier I can’t recall seeing many jeeps on 60 inch trails 😁

    • @Crucial929
      @Crucial929 6 лет назад

      this RZR is no longer 60" wide but alot of older jeeps are 60" or less

    • @RZRsEdgeInMotion
      @RZRsEdgeInMotion  6 лет назад +1

      So many reasons, but the main ones are... Even if the Jeep was 60" or less, it still wouldn't be allowed in any of the Hatfield trails, half the trails at Windrock, and off limits or limited in many other places in our area. If they break down on the trail, they are much more difficult to recover, not to mention if you drove it there you're then stranded until it is repaired. If you trailer it, you need a much larger tow vehicle to get it there. Don't get me wrong, they are great vehicles and I like them, I've also owned and wheeled them, I like the RZR more. :)
