Why would you have to mark the shaft and splines before pulling them apart when they won’t go back in any other way? A few videos have said the same thing.
the u joints have to be phased correctly, meaning if you squinted your eye and looked down the shaft complete one end to the other the ujoint/shaft ears all need to be lined up exactly

Whybdo people spend 2 3 500 dollars on a new prop shaft? 100 bucks in u joints and 2 hrs of time. Bam!
