Thank you for this video. Short, sweet and to the point. Every other video was 10 minutes long and full of useless stuff. If only all instructional videos on youtube were like this the world would be a better place.
I'd done this before but couldn't remember how to get into TPMS Learning Mode. The fact that you made a one-minute video for a process that takes about 2 minutes makes you the King of How-to as far as RUclips is concerned. Liked & subscribed!
This works! I bought it after one of my tire sensors went down and the tire place said that it was the sensor and the computer system. Then GMC was quoting me a lot of money to check it. I bought this off of Amazon and it worked. Thank you.
Thanks so much, a lot easier than my 2011, where i had to let air out entil beep, then air tires up... i got the tool for now my new ( to me ) 2019 silverato Video was plenty helpful and i do thank you !!!!
@@douglasbradford1639 Yes, but it can be tricky on dual rear wheels. The programmer basically has to be touching the valve stem to pick up the signal. You might have to remove the outer wheels, program all the sensors, then remount. Sometimes the valve stems are too close to each other and the computer doesn't know which one you're trying to program, or you can't get close enough to the inner valve stem to program.
I bought a 2020 Silverado ltz. It was lifted and new tired put on ( 35, 12.50, 20) every time I start the truck the “service tire monitor system “ comes on the screen. And of course the little tire symbol on dashboard. I cannot find the screen where it shows tire pressure on screen. Why is that? Its a 2020 so it should have it. Also it does not have a spare tire. So could that be tripping the sensor? Help plz and thank you!!!
I would look at the invoice for the new tire installation to see if original or new tire pressure sensors were installed and programmed. If not, they may not have installed sensors which would cause your warning. I don't believe the spare has a sensor, but I might be wrong.
@@MasterJacks thank you so much for the reply! You are awesome! Unfortunately I did not get an invoice for tire installation when I bought it so I guess my only option is to take it to a tire place?
my first 3 tires worl but my last tire wont read and i do not get a horn sound and now i have a service tire monitor system on my dash anybody knows what is wrong ?
Once you enter program mode, if you don't completely train all sensors it will give you the service monitoring system warning. The one sensor that isn't training likely has a low or dead battery that programing tool isn't picking up.
@@spencercrawford1124 yea I just kept trying what worked for me was getting the antenna on the edge of the rim and on the lip of the tire I just played with the location a little
Thank you for posting a 1 minute video for a 60 second tutorial , you’re the go

Do you know what tool is needed to program new tpms sensors brought from tire rack?
Did you watch the video?
I can only do the first tire but when i try to do the second tire front right there is no response
What does that mean ?
Do all four sensors display a pressure on the dash? Are you pointing the programmer at the base of the valve stem?
Will this tool work with jsueng aftermarket sensors from Amazon?
Yes, the aftermarket sensors just need to match the frequency of the originals (433MHz).

I’m having the same issue (4th tire won’t register). Did you keep trying until it finally worked?

@@nutzthomaswent to dealer today. Advised I need different sensors. The 22 sensors won’t work in the 24. Really odd
@@tnt666tnt oh man, that sucks. My sensors are actually 2024 they were in my glovebox for a trailer im guessing, so hopefully someone can program them
It dont work i bought it
Would the truck go into program mode? Did the programming tool power on?
You know if the 2023 Silverado tpms sensors are compatible with 2020 Silverado? Thanks
They both use a 433 MHz sensor, so yes they are compatible
