So interesting! I’ve been eating this way for about 5 months now and I finally feel in control of my eating habits. I live alone and I don’t buy weekly groceries at all anymore. Each morning (before I’m hungry), I go to the store and buy only what I want to eat later in the day (3:30-4:30)! This way, I don’t feel trapped by what I have in the fridge and I get to make a conscious choice each day. It’s so fun and keeps things interesting! I never feel bored of my food or restricted:)
I've stopped buying everything you mentioned, except bread (look for dave's killer bread in the store if you're in a pinch.) I've been eating a fresh tomato and dill pickle sandwich just about every day while I can in the summer. Not buying snacks has been big for me, I was always snacking. I've only been doing omad for a few months, but I've already lost 30 or so pounds, from 240something, to 210, and I haven't even started exercising. I also agree 100% about spending money on better things. Killer olive oil, expensive balsamic vinegar, great cuts of beef, these all help make this omad thing way easier than I would have guessed. I like this channel, keep up the good work.
The bread definitely started going bad for me. A surprising one for my household: less milk. Holy crap we used to buy 2-3 gallons at a time. Keep the videos coming man.
KO Medic thank you. We buy about 2-3 gallons a week right now but I have a 1 and 2 yr old. Once they’re weened we won’t buy a fraction of that. Happy OMAD!
This is very inspiring. Been in the OMAD life style for almost two months and loving it! 👍🏻 love watching your videos thank you for creating your channel 😇
I wish you would make a video on how you make your bread! :) I agree with you on the store bought salad dressings...full of CRAPPY ingredients. I have started purchaing high quality balsamic vinegars in all the delicious flavors! Love your channel so much. I have been doing IF 7 weeks now...I have about 50 pounds to lose.I have lost about 3 pounds in that time. Probably eating too much!! Yesterday I did OMAD and it was hard but I am going to try again today. I keep telling myself hunger is not an emergency!!
Nice video,I am just starting OMAD today after being off it for quite a while.I've been IF for a while but really ,I was still eating too many times.I have been on the 16/8 plan for a month now ..just having 8 hours for a feeding window ,I still feel like I'm eating 3 meals &want to snack after. You're right about buying quality foods and especially about breads, they are filled with lots of additives&preservwtives.I usually buy the Ezekiel brands if I want bread or even artisan ones.
Sandra Amlong It is something that I am definitely going to be filming very soon. I have tried to film it once in the past and the recording ended up not coming out as nice as I would like.
My husband and I do the same thing with having a snack for our desert. Sometimes we even have a 🧁 I didn't want to eliminate everything that I loved Lol
Bread is a tricky one. I'm still working on a system of making a single pita for that night's dinner. Anybody has advice/experience? Please share. And I agree 100% about Kerrygold.

I also make the artisan bread... So delicious and so easy... Sometimes I make more than one loaf and freeze one or two of them..
Alan, great information...thank you. Will you share your favorite bread recipe?

I’m not into buying junk food any more.
I know this comment is a little late, but do you mind sharing that bread recipe?
