Lol, the fact that he lost in straight sets when being hella loud, yet when he was quiet he managed to push Sascha to a tight three setter that literally could swing any way
Tudo parecia se encaminhar para mais uma partida sonhada por Humbert e o público francês. Eu não sabia do resultado até ver este vídeo, então fiquei surpreso que o Zverev reverteu a desvantagem na reta final do 3° set.
I thought this was 2024 too. I deduced that Ugo read all the hate comments about his grunting and decided to do something about it. Also, Zverev seems like a different player here: tentative, way behind the baseline counterpunching, allowing Ugo to dictate the points. From this highlight reel it’s a miracle Zverev won.
No player decides to shout to bother the opponent, it allows a relaxation and a better control of his shot. Otherwise, say that also for Nadal, Sabalenka, etc, etc.
so many balls were bouncing around the T-line. There are at least 3 players right now in worlds tennis who will attack ALL of these balls and these two keep ralleying. Compared to this year's championship' s standard there was so much fear involved. If you saw Humbert all the way through to the S/F - he was playing so much more aggressive and convincing than in this match here. Almost all balls were played close to the baseline - same goes for Zverev. I am expecing a much more aggressively played final this year.
