I tried online dating once. Answering messages started to feel like a chore and I really hate the idea of meeting strangers, so it didn't last long.
2\3rds of the the chats were just small talk and being asked if I had a good day or not. How am I supposed to learn enough about a stranger when all they want to talk about is the weather and sports? I hate sports. One guy started calling me sweetheart right off the bat and asked for my phone number after I simply said hello back. Just saying hello isn't enough information to tell me if I should give this stranger my number. I also lived in the middle of nowhere and didn't think it was worth jumping through 1000 hoops to meet anyone who never told me anything about themselves.
Also, the number of men that complain about how women sleep around, only to then have a problem if you are waiting for marriage is appalling. You can't have it both ways. But no, apparently they "can't have a relationship with no sex."
I had one guy try to argue that relationships are about compromise and that should be something to compromise over. No, my religious beliefs and morals are not up for compromise. He kept trying though.
