As a vet tech- thank you so much for teaching dogs how to behave at the vet and allowing us to help them with minimal stress! ❤️
Yes! I came here to say the same thing!
Every dog should be taught how to behave at the vet!!! It’s horrible to listen to the things my vet tech friends tell me about dogs.
@@1packatak well I totally believe and agree on what you’re saying but some of the vets are rough and don’t give the dogs a chance when they first come in I think from a puppy they have to be taught that and the vets have to be a little bit more lenient with them, but that’s just in my area
Awesome video. Great topics and advice.

The Knowledge you have is amazing,….. Masterful

Luv your video s
Blessings and niceee puppies, thank you much for the great information God Bless
30 seconds in i already know its a good one!
I found that boarding my Cane Croso isn’t a thing🤣 thanks for another great video
Absolutely love these breeds. It’s impossible how smart they are, and their limitless energy is wild.
Never would I ever own one of these. People that think they can handle it are insane. One simple question can determine it:
Do you work a standard “9-5” job? If yes, don’t get one.
Super👍👍👍❤❤❤
Are the more videos from the malinois puppy series?
The dogs are pretty
I have a caucasian shepherd She ran off and got pregnant I was pretty mad..But she had one of the most amazing pups i’ve ever seen and he’s my favorite dog i’ve ever had..We don’t know do sure what the father is but im99% certain it’s a Wolf..We saw a wolf with her before.. Her pup came out solid black no color looks just like a black wolf but has long bushy fur on its head neck and chest it’s the coolest dog i’ve ever seen.. And he’s absolutely massive he’s extremely curious and likes being off on his own.. I’m the only person he’ll come to and lay by..
Like you,my wolf dog was the best I ever had. She loved babies of every kind. Let our little granddaughter do anything and raised a kitten as her own! But beware! She was no pushover and would defend us with her life. Killed many venomous snakes. Because of her hy bred vigor she lived to a ripe old age. We all still miss her.
Thank you for training these dogs cause otherwise I doubt she can handle them😂😂😂😂
They say can’t yeah an old dog new tricks. My Pitbull/Boxer is three and was wondering if I can get him to listen this well?
Of course you can. You just have to put in the work. Reps upon reps upon reps😅
So I have a question, Can you please explain the difference between a submissive dog like a golden retriever that if you did that to they would just roll over and have no cares in the world as to a nervous shy dog possibly like the black male
I think the sporting breeds have no issue with putting them down on their sides but some herding breeds naturally don’t even want you to do that I think it’s just in the breeds
So hopefully you can explain between The temperament of a submissive golden retriever and a working herding breed
There is a difference between being submissive and docile.
@@annalisacandaso-robertson9179 oh I didn’t say anything about docile
Don't own a Maligator, but does a purebred Mal train better than a Mal/GS mix?
Depends on the dog.
What collar did he switch to in the beginning
Mighty Paw, you can find it here www.amazon.com/shop/americanstandarddogtraining/list/1SSFDPB7S4DLD
If I were to get 2 puppies, could I avoid litter mates syndrome by crating them in different rooms and not allowing them to hang out until they're both house broken/have a good foundation of training?
Email us at info@diyk9.com for more info, I can't type it all here
What's litter maybe syndrome
My opinion is irrelevant, but I’d say if you want to dogs of the same age it’d be best to get a puppy and then buy a green dog/adopt an adult dog once the puppy’s 1-2 years old.
Hey my Pitt bull is 6 months and I’m trying to teach it how to heel is it possible to do it with the e collar or should i just do it with the leash
Use an e collar bro.knock the shit on the head now before it’s out of control. My 4 month mali is on an e collar
you shouldn’t need an e collar to teach a behavior, especially not at 6 months. it should be used as a “enforcer” once they have been properly taught how to heel and conditioned to an ecollar. i wouldn’t put one on your dog before at least 1-2 years old. my 5 month old pit mix puppy heels without any tools
@@k9-unit-australia275 this is dangerous advice, you sound like you’re probably abusing your dog. You do not train new skills with an e-collar
You need to use a food lure to get your into position. Once the dogs in position use a marker (clicker or yes) then throw the food away. Rinse and repeat until the dog does it automatically. Then you can add the word heel in and start to transition away from the food lure and hand signals
@@k9-unit-australia275 you suck at dog training 🤣🤣🤣
🐾🤎👍🏼Awww I have a 14 week old! I was told I am not allowed to expose our pup to grass, let alone a training grassy field until 2 weeks past 16 weeks (last vaccine dose). What is the truth on that statement? Is it valid? I would love to get my pup out to you (who is 14 weeks) but have been told it is a big no no to expose them to anything where parvo / germs can live without a host (grass, soil, dirt, etc…) 😟💭🤔🧐
just go to hard surfaces where dogs usually don't go. if you wait too long you miss so many opportunities
This rule applies to all dogs.
Is there anyway to put your Belgian malinois in the military or as a police dog?
In my defense the shelter said he was a lab mix when I adopted him. But now you can clearly see Belgian malinois
Probably more groenendaeler belgian sheppard in it (Malinois cousin) - no such thing as a black Malinois. And you can see its a mix because of the big ears. Real Malinois don't have those big ears. People need to know some malinois lines are bread wrong since the 70's, they mixed a german sheppard in it for more biting force. Sadly those breeding lines have become more acceptable, but also usually are the ones that cause issues. Because the breeders wanted to create police dogs more than anything else and went away from what it should be.
You gotta keep ‘em separated
i have a question; is it possible that the female let you put her in that submissive position because its in a females nature to be more submissive or is it only a confidence thing? the male pup did seem afraid though
The term alpha was proven to be fake no?
No, all what was “proven” was that wolves weren’t AS dominance oriented as we thought. Just a bunch of R+ cuck propaganda. If nothing else the point of creating Canis Lupus Familliaris was to exaggerate certain traits from wolves, so just because wolves supposedly aren’t as dominance based as we thought, doesn’t mean certain dogs aren’t. Just look to human nature as fellow mammalian pack animals we’re very dominance based. Ask any man and he’ll admit at least once in his life he wanted to win world’s strongest man, become the heavyweight world boxing champion, become the richest man in the world, and/or similar goals. You can clearly look at two dogs and tell one is more assertive than the other. Best tip in dog training is to not listen to the idiots who jack off to Victoria Stilwell deepfakes.
Short answer is yes. Long answer is kinda yes
Those malis are so quiet. My 4 month old mali female is off her chops. She’s already on an E collar to bring her behaviour into check.
😬 yikes plz don't buy anymore dogs
@@kotasake Why shouldn’t they buy anymore dogs? ‘Cause they use an E-collar? Yeah, uhh ohh, nothings but TENS pulse. I mean isn’t that what they use in human neck massagers? The way they phrased it sounds pretty narly, but without details no point in getting too worked up. Sure it sounds like they’re saying they use it as positive punishment rather than negative reinforcement, but no point in jumping to conclusions.

Just read a "Dogs for sale," Belgian Malinois puppies $350/ea!!!! I think they figured out how to get rid of their destructors, lol. 😂
1,300$ everywhere i look… (LI,NY) 😔
If I can get my Belgian malinois in the military or as a police dog. My only option is training that's going to be hard for me afford.
Can you handle a former MWD/K9 ???? There are Mals out there that are not as drivey and make wonderful pets. There is one in my obedience class who was a rescue and is more mellow than my GSDx.
now we dont know?If any of your dogs are actualy real belgian malinios?
Malinios definitely not, there is no breed called malinios
Why feed puppies out of your hand??
I'm going to DNA test on him soon to make sure.
that doesnt look a pure breed malinois
she said their momma was a mix
know lady whos dog bolted out front door n now lost bcuz it wasn't trained ..pure stupidity
This why we need dislikes back🤦🏽♂️wasted time and didn’t learn anything thanks dude
Can you tell me if I can buy a puppy?
