Zero binding. Feels exactly same as open diff when on pavement. I might replace my rear for a full air locking diff for better performance on steep rocky climbs, but the LSD is has been flawless in dry, sand, snow and mud conditions
@@jessewilmot2166 Detroit and Ashcroft are both helical-gear style, limited-slip differential, but I think Ashcroft uses more gears (6 vs 4). I would not expect both to behave exactly the same
@@h2o_dug While you're correct, touching the brake gets them working, isn't it counter intuative to brake while mid climb, or while trying to get out of a hole?
Its to simulate resistance or traction so the ATB will send power to both outputs instead of being open. they re mechanically operated & will not require heavy breaking force to do so.
did the driver try applying the brakes a little when the wheels were spinning?

does it have a vnt turbo installed?
Why does the commentator say "he's open-open"? The ATBs don't seem to work that well when one wheel spins. Can they be adjusted?
No adjusting but I learning to modulate the brake to encourage more differential atb.
