I applied for this credit card last night and got approved for a very high limit! I have been watching your content for over a year now and everything you said about NFCU has been nothing but facts! I opened my account last year and didn't use it as I should have. Recently, I applied for a car loan and got approved and purchased a new vehicle for my wife with a very low interest rate and after last night, I am now a Flagship Rewards car owner! Thanks for sharing everything bro! You are changing lives!
@@dmvbay2535 650. I am carrying a few high balances with some of my credit cards and I bought a house last year that has been keeping my score low. However, according to MyFico payment history, length of credit, amount of new credit, and credit mix are all exceptional. I learned a long time ago that your credit score is just one factor but creditors want to see that you are credit worthy! You will be surprised how many things you can get approved for. I have all of the higher tier credit cards: Amex, Citi, Chase, etc. The car loan I got with NFCU was $38k no down payment or anything and the credit approval I got last night for the Flagship card was $15k. I only wanted the card to use to transfer balances so I could take advantage of the low interest rate and pay off the credit cards earlier. I know you shouldn’t carry a balance 😂 Good luck on everything and keep following this guy! His information is solid!
A solid relationship with the Federal Navy helps a lot. I have a car loan, a pledge loan and a flagship account, I have a fair credit and have been approved for the flagship credit card
in 2018 My first Navy federal Rewards card was included in Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. in 2023, i voluntarily paid off the bad dept and was approved for the Navy Federal Flagship card, with a ten thousand dollar limit. It's not the high limit most received by most, but I'm happy I was able to repair my relationship with Navy Fed.

I appreciate these videos. I got the Flagship Rewards CC a while back after watching one of these videos. I didn’t have a wide credit mix but a decent score and more importantly, a long history with NFCU. Approved immediately with a solid limit. It’s a game changer since it’ll likely have a higher initial limit than most consumer cards.
@@JustMoneyishI got approved for 25k flagship instantly online within 1 week, after opening a checking/savings. Now I would like to get an increase to the highest limit.
@@JustMoneyishDo you feel I need to switch my checking account to a flagship and use direct to deposit, even if They already approved me for a high limit flagship card already? Thanks in advance for your help. Keep putting out good info.
@@MrDmacc1 thanks! And depends on what other products you have with them and what your trying to receive with them in the future tbh…I would need more context
@@JustMoneyish I would like to build some business credit with them, but I've seen vids on here that say the limits on business credit is less than the personal side. But I feel if I build a relationship with my personal, then I can PG my business. I'm interested in finding out if they offer no Doc loans for business and a line of credit as well as a credit card.
I actually got the email about my anniversary for this card today. 25k limit been trying to get higher, got this because of an old video of yours And love it
3:55 opposite side of that sword, right above "credit mix" is "credit history", which will take a hit when you CLOSE/PAY OFF said pledge loan. Gotta pay to play.

My Brother opened up A Navy Fed account. He got the flagship the same day he opened the account. No pledge loans or anything else. 25k right off the Bat..... I have one as well. I went the pledge loan route and applied for flagship after 6 months approved 25k
Exactly you don’t need to wait to apply for any card, the same day you establish a relationship you can apply for any cards you want just make sure your credit it good
I have been a member for a very long time and have no doubt I would more than qualify for this card. It seems however that 40K points is very low compared to other cards for signing up. Chase and other cards like Amex Gold offer 60K points to sign up in addition to a host of other benefits. Not to mention points earned for things like gas, groceries and other spending. Granted their annual feee is higher (much higher with Amex) but for one looking to earn max points to gain free travel, NFCU's card seems to be seriously lacking. That said, your video it very well done and super informative and I appreciate your efforts to educate us. Semper Fi.
This was the first card they approved me for ironically the day after signing up with the Credit Union, but I changed it to the American express one due to the fee. I always get approved for weird things others don't and declined for everything everyone else gets approved for. Like that Capital one Venture X approved with a 15k limit, but I got declined applying for Savior lol.
I got a Cash Rewards 3 months after joining. They only gave me a 500 limit to start. I have since then cleaned up everything owed since on other cards! I've also done the pledge loan for 2k. When I'm past the 91/3 should I do the CLI first or Apply for a 2nd card first?
@@fiverocktrading681 Honestly it doesn’t matter which you do first since it’s past the 91 days and the CRL is a soft pull…but for me personally I would apply for another credit card first then the credit limit increase

If you're familiar with another popular RUclipsr named Sledge, he says they've done it for him more than once, so my question for you is are you an Amazon Prime member who's done that with this card & is your experience similar to Sledge's experience?
I have this card and as long as it’s advertised when you apply, you can redeem it. You have to pay for the Prime Membership upfront but they’ll reimburse you in a statement credit not long after. It’s solid
@@floydbanks173 yes they have done it for me more than once, I’m not sure if it’s a glitch on their end or they might just keep doing it up until their Amazon partnership ends some day
For me, that's the reason why I product changed an unused platinum card for this. Got credited about a week after paying for the Prime membership, about $10 in added taxes. I saw that NFCU did a survey on how to improve this card, but getting 3x on food and groceries would be fantastic... if they did it. Only negative about this card (and others that get rewards)is you need 5000 pts minimum to redeem for cash (or $2500 in spend at 2x). CashRewards is a better card for easy cash back
