I'm not to sure how it works but I just opened my account 1 week ago. 3 days later I applied for the flagship card. They gave me a 20k limit. My transunion score is 742. I opened a checking account, a saving account and set up a direct deposit. The letter I got back on Monday said I had a 315 internal score. I hope this helps someone.
That’s great! I’ve been with them 3 weeks applied for the go rewards of 30000 how long did it take before you got a letter because I haven’t received anything yet
Nice is it Possible to get the 319 internal school without doing direct deposit I like the bank and I plan on keeping it. I just don’t want to do direct deposit with them just yet maybe in a few years just not right now.
My credit was 646 and got blessed with a 25K for my first card for them. My salary is high and I have a low amount of debt. I did build a relationship with them for about a year until I applied. ❤❤❤
You have to wait 91 days and/or three billing statements before applying for a new credit card or a credit limit increase. Otherwise, you will be denied.
I got a 3000 credit limit increase on my card. Then the next day I applied for a new card and got a 20,000 limit on that card. Then 4 days later I got a personal loan for 7000. And I still owed on another loan. I also have a car loan. I started at 267 internal score when I started with them and 2yrs later I'm at 367.
My husbabd had both an Iron Man helmet and Mjolnir custom made by a coworker to go in our gameroom... Love your channel-- thank you for sharing all these great gems!😊!😊😊😊

Hmmmm. I guess all experiences are different, becuz the same day I open my savings/checking acct, I applied for the More Rewards Amex, I got approved for $24,900. I mean, they couldve just round up to make it 25k, but hey, Im happy with what I have. I have my direct deposit with them and a pledge loan as well, I think I’ll apply for another More Rewards in late Feb or early March.
@@medznbill7358 - Nope. I opened the checking, savings, and credit card in one day, I setup my direct deposit a week later, and then I got my pledge loan.
Question, I have a $41K limit on my Flagship CC, it has been 4 months since I got that limit. It’s the only NFCU card that I have. Should I ask for a CI or apply for another CC?
I live in California. I just asked for an increase around 1500 pacific time today and I just got a response in my inbox at 2117. East coast time that’s 0017 (12:17 AM) east coast time. So idk I guess NFCU credit center are working late hours FYI I got the increase :)
My question is; once you get those high credit limits, what kind of spend do you need to put on those cards every month to keep that high credit? Or does it even matter?
Hello, how can you show me the process to getting my credit corrected? I think I need your help and thanks for that information on the Navy Federal credit Union.
Hey! @just money is there any issues if I use around 90% of my $500 Reward credit card but paying it on time. Do you think that will affect my credit limit increase desicion? I usually use that card to pay and buy almost everything and transfer money to that account so I can get the reward benefit.
With the balance transfer from on card to another, is that the best route to take when paying off one to have a better card with navy? Or using a load amount to pay off old credit cards that was going to be used for the transfer with navy?
Should I ask for a credit increase first before I go for the flag ship or more rewards card I have the same card as you but I’m ready for an credit increase I’m not sure what to do first
So question is their credit limit the combined limits of all cards from them. Or it possible to hit the max credit limit on all 3 cards. I.E. Is it possible to get 50k on More Rewards, 50k on the Platinum and 80k on the Black Flagship?
NO... $80,000 limit is across all credit card accounts, not one. Within 6 months of opening up my Navy Federal banking relationship, I received $25K Cash Rewards after 2 months, and 3 months later I received $25K More Rewards. About a year later I applied for Go Rewards and received $3K. Did one CLI and got $6K. Got an approved auto loan for $70K 11/22. In 12/22 requested a second CLI and got $8,000 for a total of $17K on my GO Rewards. With the CLI I received a letter from NFCU that said I was at my maximum unsecured credit with them, and I'm good! This is my personal experience with NFCU in under two years..
Thank you for the Great content and Congrats on the CLI. Quick question my 91/3 is coming up soon, I know the Max CLI is at 8K right? Im looking to get the More rewards with a High limit. Not sure if to do the CC first or the CLI? Any tips. Thanks
Appreciate that! The max credit limit increase depends on your credit worthiness, job history, income…etc. I personally would do the credit limit increase first then do the CC after personally .
@@JustMoneyish Thank you so much for the information I’m working on my credit to buy me a house car and open me a business and your information about credit and credit cards really helping I really appreciate you Keep on keeping on man 🙏🏾❤
@SantiagoJimenez-xv9ud 50$ CD. And 400$ pledge loan, I didn't even have the premium checking or direct deposit. Only tan maybe 1500$ in zelle to it and paid a few CC payments to amex from it. 740 credit score.
Been with Navy Fed 2 years. Have direct deposit, Chk account, Savings account, money market account, several pledge loans, & car loan. Cash Rewards card for $5k only to get increase to currently slightly under $15k. Sucks to hear people under 6 months in doing better than me. 😢

A rep just told me that they automatically review each count when every statement comes out like you said with a soft credit pull

Which would you suggest to do first a Amex card or car loan?
Can you request a CLI & apply for a new NFCU credit card around the same time?
In November I request an increase on my more rewards and applied for the platinum Visa. I received both
How about getting the interest rates lowered ? Platinum can go down to 10.99%. What’s yours at?

Always 10% but don't go past 30%
Hello,
If I received an auto loan from Navy federal, can I go in and apply for a credit card using the same pull?
Congratulations!

Hi as a NFCU member coming up on two years question is the platinum credit card the best card for getting high limits approval on? Thanks

I won’t lie you’re dope and give awesome advice but it makes no sense to get the same exact card
Did you have a balance on either card before applying for new card and CLI?
