Naam, this all really work. I got the flagship and the more rewards plus my wife got the cash reward card and we on our third auto loan with navy federal. Thank you so much. I started all this because of you and it all work. Also, last auto loan I applied for the told me how I had a perfect internal credit score.

Tanks for the info Naam, sadly I got denied for the pledge loan because I had a CC with them that I couldn’t pay becuase I went through a financial hardship and they sent it to collections so their reason was that I caused a loss to them, I’m paying the balance with the collection company because the rep told me to do it that it would help, I hope that it help me out in the future to be able to use their products.
Don't EVER file a BK with Navy Fed, they never forgive or forget and it really is to their detriment. A buddy of mine did 10 years ago and he now makes over 300 grand with every premium card out there and Navy Fed won't touch him.
Nah, I have heard of them still denying after paying them back. Even so, why would you lmao just move onto a different or better lender. @@curtdogg3000
What if you have a checking and savings only at Navy Federal.Would a bankruptcy matter so long as Navy Federal isn’t a creditor?Would they close out your membership?
I got a navy fed credit card and i refinance my car with them. Im currently in the beginning stages of building a relationship with them. Do u think i should get into any of there other services right now or jus stick with the services i have. Thank u. Great video by the way
Yeah but you will get hit 6-8 points for adding a new account to your credit profile, people who talk about pledge loans seem to leave this out. Because the account is high risk, well all loan accounts are considered new high risk.
@@NBCLLC the drop is temporary though when you pay back 90% of the loan within a week and make on time payments on the remaining balance your score should go up The pledge loan helps you build your credit profile while building a relationship and internal score with the credit union.
Quick question: Given my longstanding relationship with Navy Federal since 2008, including a personal checking and savings account with bi-weekly direct deposits and regular transfers to savings, plus recently opening two certificates, what are my realistic chances of being approved for a Navy Federal credit card given your experience? I'm actively working to improve my credit score, which is currently at 574 according to TransUnion, and have sent out the first round of letters to address this. I would appreciate an honest assessment of my situation? Thank you! Take care of yourself and stay safe 🙏
So what are the reasons your scores are so low? First, you need to pay your bills ontime and avoid anything going to collections. What is your credit card balances?
Naam I got denied today for consolidation loan .. I have 3 credit cards with Navy and 2 personal loans with navy .. My income is good and all my cards and loans are current .. Can you help me ?
Hey Naam, recently I was turned down for a credit card increase on my NFCU cash rewards. Not sure of the reason but I waited 90 days with on-time payments and their reason is because of OTHER accounts outside of NFCU...I was pretty disappointed and now I'm stuck with a card with only a 500 limit. Not happy at all. But my scores are better but I just don't want to apply for another card... I just want to increase this limit.
I’ve had my flagship card for a little over a 1 1/2 and I just applied for my second increase and they denied it. My balance is so low. I’m only with a $1500 credit limit. My balance is only about $70 on the card right now and I use it every month With 100,000 year income I don’t know why they denied me that’s ridiculous to me. I have a car loan that I pay on time every month for over a year now I have 1500 about my flagship checking account. I don’t get it sometimes.
So I’ve been with Navy Fed for about 6 years bc of the military, I used to have direct deposit for about 5 of those years and only the past year I haven’t due to my job only does hard checks so I only deposit cash into my account now. I’ve never pulled any loans and I’ve gotten my mom to join and less than a year I’ve increased my credit over 100 points. What are the chances of me getting a 44k loan with a 610 credit score. I make about 6.4K monthly and already have a car under my name. If anyone have any advice or answers
Great video! Thank you!!! I do have a question. I am cleaning my credit up now. I only have a bankruptcy from 2/22 that was dismissed w/o prejudice and with a 0 balance showing on my credit. I am having it removed before I apply for a card or car loan. Any suggestions or advice. And if I have Lexis Nexis, Sage Stream frozen how will that effect my approval odds? Thank you so much in advance.
Hey Naam, I am looking to increase the limit on my flagship credit card. I've had overdrafts/negative balances in the past, but I now carry a high balance in my flagship checking account. Is all hope lost for me to get this increase or is there a way around being denied. I've been a member for 2+ years and have pledge loans with them. I've had the flagship for almost 2 years and have a $0 balance. Also since joining I've racked up a little student debt, should I pay this down before applying?
It should only be a soft pull if you decide to do it on their app or online, but right now the max limit is 8K. You might be better getting a new card to increase your overall limits.

Thats amazing!!!
If I want a new cc and a new autoloan from nfcu, which one would you do first? I figure the car first for the best rates/amounts.
This was helpful and informative, thank you! I joined on AD in 2004, and am just learning about the greatness of NFCU lol

I got denied for getting a personal loan today but 3 to 6 months again i got approved for the same loan

No hard inquiry for a pledge loan
True, I messed up on that part. Thanks!

Yeah, definitely don't get on their bad side.
What's a BK?
Nah, you just got to pay them back what you owe them
Then start over with them clean

yes, there is. I did a $2001 pledge loan for 36 months and it showed up on myfico TransUnion as a hard inquiry so did my Nrewards card.

Sorry to hear that. Due the soft pull they did, they probably saw the high utilization, and it scared them away. I would try again in the 91 days.
