Own you house and car outright and you'll never have to worry about retirement or being laid off. Avoid credit and don't play their games. Points, "kohls cash", cash back and the like on credit cards / grocery / gas reward accounts are gimmicky and these companies do it because it works for them, not the consumer.
You can use it to your advantage. Cash back on purchases on a no annual fee card that you pay off the next day every time you use it can save you thousands a year and cost you nothing. The banks still love you, your credit score loves you and it's a win win, why would you leave money on the table when it is this simple to get additional "savings" on every purchase you make?

Questions: I just finished paying off my TD Cash Credit Card, but I am no longer with TD Bank but still have their TD Cash Credit Card. I have been in Chase Bank now for a while. These were my thoughts on what to do after watching you for a while now. I am in between thoughts, keep the TD Secure Credit Card which I just paid off, or withdraw the money and put it towards a Chase Credit Card? I have passed the Secured probation period already for over a year now and counting. What do you strongly suggest I do? And keep up the good work on teaching 👏 I have learned a great deal from you 🙏❤️

I thought we are supposed to freeze Equifax, Trans Union and Experian ?? Do we not freeze them ??

Haha true. Just make sure the lender doesn't force you to pay it off sooner since the balance is low. Some lenders will do this!

@movingearth3726 damn you're dumb. Under what assumptions do you believe I'm late? I'm actually a good 5 months early on "paying it off"(30 months out of a 36month term).
@movingearth3726 paying it off, closes an installment loan and shortens your overall age of credit. Or like last time I paid off an installment loan, my score took a -22 drop(for only a few months, but if I'm trying to utilize a better score...)
@@movingearth3726 I don't think you understand. Pre paying loans, will usually allow you not have a required payment for months, or the pay reduces very small.

Ok thanks for the info I recently started banking at navy fed and I'm interested in the cash rewards card but was pre approved only for the nrewards card right now
Would tradelines work to get that navy fed cash rewards card I'm after or should I not try it
@@jacksonvillestacker3027 The nrewards will upgrade to partial unsecured in 4 months, then to the green card in about 6 months. It still a solid card to get the start
