I’ve been following you for years because we’re around the same age and I relatively seldom comment but I have to say I’m really loving this so far & the fact that you’re showing the expanses of your journey gave me the final kick to comment. It tends to be forgotten or just avoided while it’s such a crucial part in this journey and I know you’re making yourself quiet vulnerable by showing those aspects, as well as the losses but you’re doing great, keep it up!
Adding the cost to the whole journey is one aspect many do not mention, so very impressive of you to add it. Most people do not realize how especially breaking into the pro circus (and staying there) is a huge monetary investment.
I was more excited about watching this than I was watching Australian Open. Great personality. Can't wait to see that 1 point under your belt some day!
This video randomly showed up on my page and I’m glad it did. I absolutely love tennis and found my love for it somewhat late when considering how young you have to be committed to a sport to even consider playing professionally. Watching this series will be a way I can live through you in learning the experience I wish I would’ve pursued when I was younger! Very excited for this and I wish you all the success in your journey!
Felix, for first tournament match back in several months you looked very good from the highlights. Not the results you would have liked but you showed true grit and determination to come back in that second set. Now it’s just maintaining that level over a match.
I’ve been watching your videos for about a year now and you’ve inspired me to get back into playing a couple times a week this year. Head up mate, there is so much good to come in your future!
This has become one of my favorite RUclips channels. I always look forward to the videos, particularly since I think they provide valuable pointers on improving upon our own tennis, how to compete in tournaments, and of course on the tennis journeys of the tennis brothers! Felix, I really appreciate how you show losses just as often (maybe even more often) as wins on your channel. Learning from losses is super important. Excited for lots more great content to come!
thanks matt, my aim is to portray my journey in the most honest way possible so it makes me happy that that is the vibe you get 🙌Appreciate the support 👍
All the things you listed in the beginning of the video are exactly what I struggle with, playing each point as its own, finding depth, and finding rhythm. I tend to hit late on the ball sometimes but I think that could just be from not hitting with purpose, and not practicing so much. But seeing this journey has helped to inspire me to be more diligent with my practice and play, loved the video and can't wait to see more!
i also had match tiebreakers on a tournament, ITS SO STRESSFUL i was down 9-1 and won 13-11 my opponent started crying and i was SOOOO HAPPY and next time i played against that guy in 3rd set(which was tiebreak) i was up 7-3 and lost 18-16 in a really tight game its so hard to stay calm sometimes
Such cool content! Thanks for sharing your career with us! I really look forward to seeing how far your determination and hard work are going to take you! All the best!
Felix , you have the potential. When i saw your approach to the ball and positioning i knew it. There are some small things to change and i know that you will definitely take care of that. Good luck my friend
Match day vids are great. The budgeting section at the end is great as well because being on the circuit is expensive. Looking forward to following you on your journey and good luck!
Hey Felix, thanks for the upload, been looking forward to it all week. Be proud of the tennis you played, win or loss, you're making the effort. I really genuinely look forward to seeing you progress through the year, we're all rooting for you buddy.
Thank you for taking us on your tennis journey. I tried the same thing 35 years ago. I wish I would have had a tennis mentor to prioritise my efforts. All the best from your mates in Australia 🏆👍!
Wow tough lost man. But you dug deep. Get more match play and get that mental game up, I believe in you! And thanks for listening to the fans and making a video on the economics of this journey. I’ve been sharing your channel with all my tennis friends and they’ve been subscribing without me telling them to, that’s because your editing is really great! Also you did a good job making the match not too long. Sometime a lot of match videos are dragged out and boring. But you found a good balance and provide great commentary. Good work buddy.
thanks 🙏 glad to hear other people also enjoying the videos , i wanted to make it an ideal length for the video and tomorrow i will post the extended 16 minute match highlights for the people that want to really enjoy the tennis 👍
This just randomly showed up on my youtube home page and it is what I have been looking for a long time for some inspiration. I love what are you doing in giving us a first-person insight into the experiences. keep going I'm a subscriber now.
Actually really interesting to see this. Like there's not just little differences, there's insanely enormous differences about how y'all play vs the top 100
@@tennisbrothers oh yeah no insult it's just like wow. Cool to see how even when you're looking to get your first atp point you would still destroy the vast vast majority of people, but probably would struggle to get a game against the top ten. Tennis's skill ceiling is insane
I think you just have to stay at it, eventually you will come through situations like this. All you need is time to absorb more experience and build up your mental resilience to navigate the big moments in a match. Stay positive and keep the dream alive, remember that if it doesn't have a happy ending, then it's not over yet!
Hey bro, first tournament is always tough but glad that you are keeping up the routine even after losing. Thanks for considering my comment on your videos. Best regards from Peru.
You are so inspirational for me. You are my role model that I want to be like in the future! You are working so hard to make you’re dreams come true that it will definitely pay off. I HOPE TO SEE YOU SOON IN ATP FINALS! 💗 💪
Great tennis! Really enjoyed watching your match and looking forward to many more. I know that your hard work and commitment to the sport will pay off. A BIG thank you to your sponsors for allowing YOU and us to enjoy this ride together.
Bravo from France ! Some crucial points was closed by gorgeous winners from your hand, full courage. You will soon close the match in style. Your video is also nice to follow. Great team job !!
Great series and great job of leaving a record of your journey as a young tennis player! I'm sure it will be fun watching in a few years time once you've broken into the top 100. Best of luck!
A marvelous discovery this channel is ! And yeah, I understand the nerves needed to struggle better in tie-breakers. Have had moments where I was outrageously leading 6-1 or having match points on TB and then flumped the rest of the way losing on these opportunity. Then you know what I did ? Nerved steel myself to get better in the next set or match. It is tough, but you usually get better at it with time, simple as that. All that matters after these hard times is to harden your determination even against adversity. It's a crucial point where you can't falter mentally or it's just a downward spiral from there. Looking at your match it's clear you have what it takes to progress enough to be a real competitive player with enough time. I hope you'll find this journey enriching by the end of it, you've got my support 😉
thanks Mario, i am always glad when new people find the channel and actually enjoy the content, thanks for the comment i appreciate the support and the kind words 🙌
Felix, firstly congrats for your tennis level and your content here! I watched a channel named as Operation Liftoff which presented a road of a tennis player like you are doing now. I was very sad because their channel ended but now your are uploading videos which are very good so thanks a lot for that! I know that you will be reaching your goals as you are focused in your trajectory!
Should’ve brought him forward. He didn’t want any part of the net. That little forehand chip slice where he retreated back to baseline was tell tale sign. Great tennis btw. With your hard work and dedication you’ll reach your goals 👍
It is really great content. I like it especially because i am junior 15yo competitive tennis player in Serbia and my goal is to acheive 1 atp point.
