It's a great little software, in a world of big DAW "sharks". I truly enjoyed using it, now and then,
for the simplicity and somewhat 90s - 00s feeling it sparks in me - not in a bad way.
While the big companies focus on power, features and everything "smashing",
these few folks at Acoustica focus on the little musician who wants to make music and have fun at it.
Like a small local bakery, on the street where you used to grow up VS. a big chain bakery in supermarkets.

I purchased this a few days ago as I had 8 and 9 pro and I have to say that Mixcraft 10 PRO is the business !!! So much so that I'm going to feature it in a video on my channel soon even though I'm not a pro musician. It's absolutely fabulous, works straight out of the box and is sleek, pristine and so easy to use, I'm absolutely rapt !! Thanks guys
Loving this new version! The user interface is much improved and more intuitive. My creative flow doesn’t get interrupted, because the DAW just does what I expect it to.

I have been in the recording studio and composed music since 2005 but before that I bought Cakewalk and bought cubase5-10 for making music and came back to Mixcraft9 pro studio in 2020 but now I bought Mixcraft10 pro studio and I like it very much it is very easy and convenient I think I have to buy the next version in the future

Wow I’ve been using Mixcraft for a long time now. I think my first take into Mixcraft was version 5. Really love the new Mixcraft 10. The scaling is awesome, more track colors and ability to color clips individually now. Midi routing.., hell the list just goes on. Definitely was worth the upgrade from 9 Pro.

Well, I just love Mixcraft 10 Pro.
My wife bought me version 6, and each year I would upgrade because it’s a no brainier .
It easily works with stacking sounds, Novation MK3, NUX MG-400 guitar effect pedal, and yes it has been configured as my interface. I play keyboards and electric guitar with it with no problem whatsoever
I put this on my laptop and play live at church with no problem.
And it’s not a cp hog!
That’s my 2 cents because I don’t need the change!
If I can turn midi into dark mode, I'd be sitting down for hours working on music. That'd be nice.
This is my favorite of all the daws I've tried. I want to work mainly with MIDI, and Mixcraft has a friendly interface. I wish I could afford it. Even with the discount, it is out of my reach.

The wait is finally over. Mixcraft 10 has been released this month & boy i'm looking forward to try out this new & improved DAW.
I plan on upgrading from Mixcraft 9 PS to Mixcraft 10 PS. If that doesn't work, Then i'll get either Mixcraft 10 RS or Mixcraft 10 PS. Or for a third option, I'll just end up getting Mixcraft 10 PS.
The new feature's are marvelous & the piano roll is 10x better then Mixcraft 9's piano roll, In my personal opinion.
You all have worked very hard bringing Mixcraft 10 to life & myself along with everyone like to say a big thank you.
And for people who haven't used Mixcraft. I recommend y'all use it, Mixcraft is underrated & please give it the love & respect it deserves.
Like the tagline says: "In tune with you".
Hope y'all give Mixcraft 10 some good amount of updates this year & beyond.

@@acoustica222 You're very welcome. Again, The Mixcraft DAW is underrated & people needs to give it love, respect & appreciation it deserves. Besides all that, Here's my thoughts on Mixcraft 10.
1. The new & improved redesigned UI is fantastic. Very slick & easier to use now. In my opinion, Mixcraft 10's UI is better then Mixcraft 9's UI. Again, My opinion.
2. The piano roll. Oh man, Mixcraft 10 gave the piano roll justice, Much better piano roll in Mixcraft 10 & very user friendly, When you select the notes. The notes are now noticeable to move around. Plus, Not having to worry about altering moving my notes around anymore. Advanced note sections, Drag notes vertically & selecting note steps are now a breeze then in Mixcraft 9.
3. The plugin manager is a great new feature in Mixcraft 10. Now allowing people to notice their paid or free VST plugins easily, And now, A save mode is added too.
4. Ah yes. The Mixcraft Store, A great addition to Mixcraft 10, Allowing people the get paid or free plugins from Acoustica. For me, I like getting the free VST plugins from Acoustica like the Voltage Nucleus, AAS Session Bundle, Nightlife Synthesizer, Cherry Audio DCO-106, Galactic Reverb & Stardust Tape Echo. Looking forward to try these out in Mixcraft 10.
5. Enhanced control support, Refined mixer controls, Track regions & the other new features in Mixcraft 10 are great new additions for a new era for Mixcraft users like myself. Again, Looking forward to try them out.
And now, Here's a couple new features that we need in Mixcraft 10.
1. Add some other instruments from the EMU Proteus series (EMU Proteus 1, 2, & 2000)
2. We need Sandboxing in Mixcraft 10. If you fine folks in Acoustica don't know what Sandboxing is. I'll explain it, What Sandboxing does is if your VST plugins crash. It will only crash that said VST plugin, Mixcraft will not crash period. Thanks to the Sandboxing feature, Similar to Bitwig Studio & Tracktion Waveform.
So please Acoustica. Please these 2 new features in the foreseeable future, Probably in a new version patch of Mixcraft 10, Along a bunch of bug fixes & improvements to make Mixcraft 10 better then ever before.
With all that being said, I'm giving Mixcraft 10 a 10/10 & two thumbs up 👍👍.

I actually use it on linux and it works perfectly. I have to use it through wine though

I just released a new album (its on my channel shameless plug lol) and I made it exclusively with Mixcraft. I have a hard time explaining to people why after nearly a decade of using this DAW, I cant bring myself to use anything else. It is so quick and intuitive to use and I'll definitely be upgrading to 10 and doing a video on it as well!

I purchased MX8 Pro and MX9 Pro, yet I received only one license of Melodyne; why is that? MX9 Pro was not an upgrade for my MX8.
I couldn't get Melodyne to work properly with MX8 Pro and it was shelved until 9 came out and I decided to give it another shot. Luckily Melodyne worked with MX9 Pro and when I tried to re-install MX8 Pro, I realised that despite paying for two separate copies, I only received one code for Melodyne. So, there's no way I can install a copy on a laptop and another (purchased) copy on a desktop because Melodyne said the code had already been used (that was when I realised I only have one Melodyne license, instead of two). I contacted the support page but I don't think I got a reply back.

Mixcraft Pro version 9 (and version 7) have the most clean interface in a DAW. I am quite tempted with your latest version; unfortunately, I have just purchased Magix Acid Pro :(

For Mixcraft, do you ever see a possiblity of going Mac OS as well? Reason I bring this up is because of the new developer kit that was recently announced via WWDC. Look into it.
I use Logic for MacOS but if Mixcraft came to Apple devices, I would jump on it in a heart beat! It's way easier than Logic in my opinion..and may be biased..but way better! I have been using MX for more than 8 years and Logic for about one year. Also mind you, I was a BIG PC guy, not really into macs..until I started using them. Intel based Macs are not really my favorite but the Apple Silicon M1 versions, those are definitely game changers.
mac is infinitely more stable than windows for music production it would be a great move to make it portable to a mac os. Logic is great daw too i always if you are new to audio production software please try mixcraft because it helped me grow so much spent countless hours working on stuff in there when i was just starting music recording and i miss those days a ton even though now i have a full on in home recording studio with drums piano bass guitar saxophone and what not.
Sorry, no plans for macOS. It’s a crowded market and we’re a small team. We’d prefer to focus on making Mixcraft the best balance between ease of use and power for Windows at this time.
Exactly…. For me becuz it so long for them to bring 10 that I’m totally uninterested and becuz they have yet to cross over to Mac OS is definitely a No for me

great job to the team have you guys thought about having hot key templates for studio one pro tools logic etc. so if someone comes from one of those and does not want to adjust to a new daw they can just select their old layout and they have all the normal hotkeys they are used to further increasing your flexibility. secondly mixers with a daw mode function like presonus studio live series 3 mixers? ive used mixcraft way back since like 5 up to 9 then i started messing around with studio one since most of my gear is presonus just made since to make the switch over.

Purchased mixcraft 8 with plug-ins such as fusion field that was already in that version later on had mixcraft 9 and fusion field plug-in was nowhere to be found at all with other missing plug-ins aswell..does anyone know how to fix this issue?
Hi I like the new look its good to see the color changes for the Mixer Section. Does Mixcraft have any plans to have a Color change option for the rest of the GUI besides the light /Dark choice?. I recently Bought Zenbeats it has more GUI color Theme choices ,The Blueish Theme looks good, if Mixcraft had more GUI Custom Color Choice I would buy it (Id even pay more for A Deluxe Color Custom version) it as I like the work flow it has to offer, and Im sure it all works fine now, but it is still Grey/Brown DAW except for the Mixer tracks, for me that is what has stopped me purchasing it Im over DAWs that have little or no Color personalization options Im used to Reaper different Themes and Colors , MUtools very Color Customizable even Ableton FL Studio all Have Color options Im sure it would boost sales if had more of a Color option , so yes Im disappointed for now. maybe at some point Mixcraft could address this Color Theme issue ..... thanks Jar....... Ps I noted the Mono/ Stereo Wide update on every Channel very nice indeed, Over all I think this a big improvement with all the new Feature Requests .
Well thank you for your feedback. There aren't any plans to make new custom skins at this point. You can now change clip colors, independently of track colors and there are more track colors, but we don't have a lot of user interface customization in the works right now.

Today I upgraded from Mixcraft Studio Pro 9 to Mixcraft Stoudio Pro 10 and the price of the upgrade was VERY generous! I am however slightly confused why the Recording Studio version is included in the upgrade. Why would I install a inferior version? I am not complaining but please enlighten me.
It's just a little side effect of the way we did it. We have a bundle which includes pro studio stuff and then includes recording studio and both installers. In the future we may change that, but it's not anything to worry about

I didn’t see anything worth the wait….. I was using Mixcraft ever since Mixcraft 4 I stopped after there were no new updates from Mixcraft 9 However I waited so long for an update from Studio Pro 9 that lookn at Mixcraft 10 there is nothing impressive This video said Nothing about an improved mixer and I thought there would be a newer look to the software and at this point I thought they would of at least crossed over to Mac (Apple) computers 😢It’s a BIG NO for me maybe I’ll check back next year But Mixcraft you took wayyyyyy to long to come back from the dead 👎🏾
I've been using mixcraft since it originally released. I'm going to skip this one, as it seems like more of a free upgrade than anything. nothing really new content wise. not 39$ worth atleast...ill stick to 9.
