I bought this vacuum after seeing this review and everything that was tested here is absolutely on-point: Cleaning performance is excellent, slick app, and the robot is ingeniously easy to clean. However, mapping our 1000 sqft obstacle free hardwood floor unit took almost 2 days of mapping, charging, mapping, charging... After a week the robot self-updated its software, and after that my old map stopped working. I had to do it all over again! A couple weeks later, another software update nuked the map again. Just my experience, hope it helps someone.
I'm now using a Roborock S7+, and in terms of mapping and reliability it's so much better. It mapped and cleaned our 1000 sqft in under an hour with 50% battery left on balanced mode. It doesn't crash into everything, and the keepout zones are way more accurate. And it just works every time. It's worth mentioning that the carpet cleaning performance of the Roborock S7 is definitely worse (but still respectable) than the Roomba j7 and the brush roller is slightly more tedious to clean. Overall, especially on hardwood floor, the Roborock is the better option by far.
Were you vacuuming or just mapping? I've read on another review to use a setting for mapping only that doesn't turn on the vacuum and the mapping goes much faster, and only uses a fraction of the power, so it doesn't need to keep charging.
I'm constantly looking at aliexpress to see when the roborock s7 maxv is in stock, in China Before brexit, we were able to just get it shipped from an EU warehouse but after brexit, you can still get it but they're close iroomba prices. Probably cheaper to go to Europe and and bring it back lol
J7+ vs Roborock S7+ video needed! I was about to order the Roborock on your review and then saw this. I would love to see your comparison of the two. Love your channel!
Definitely! I have more of a problem with my Cat deciding my living room carpet is the best place to display his latest hairball or succulent plant leaf collection.
If your cat is peeing OR pooping outside the box, clean the litter boxes more often and you should always have one more litter box than you have cats. We have 4 cats and 5 litter boxes that get cleaned everyday.
depend on the P.U.K.E, mine make a solid puke (hair inside) and it look like poop, so it should work too, for the piss it's obviously a issue but is really not normal for a cat to just piss on the ground.
@@jessie3291 Absolutely, we have three kids and one cat (but she's mostly living outdoors). You need to pick up toys and other stuff in the kids rooms but that's good... "You need to clean your room, otherwise will Jarvis (our J7+) take your toys." 😉 It's also easy to schedule it to skip some rooms when cleaning.
How do you like it? We have 2700 sq ft carpet, tile and vinyl. One Persian cat and 1 girl. Concerned about pet hair and ability to clean carpets. Any issues with emptying the dirt bin or hair breaking or getting stuck on rollers etc? How is the maintenance?
@@shanew7361 The dirtbin empties without any problem. I clean the rolls something like once a week. I have removed the brush and cleansed it twice since September 18 and that's more than enough for us. My wife and my two daughters all have long hair but i think that the j7 handles it well.
Bet my bottom dollar that there will be a j9+ to follow that will put that expected, standard top-of-the-line, premium price right back to your expectations. :-)
Or the "division" that was created or hired to research said topic. LOL Can we just imagine them subcontracting with an outside firm that studied the issue. How did the want ad read when the were soliciting? LOL.
Got it after hearing so much positivity about it; returned it after a week of very poor results. - Pet hair HEAVILY clogs this thing, auto empty base struggles to empty it's bin, it's also as loud as a jet engine. (bin size is about half of a roomba 980 which is pretty bad) - Likes to smash into objects (be it chairs, even walls) and it's 50/50 if it's going to avoid them or not. - Had trouble finding the base numerous times and ran out of battery rather quickly. - Loved to spend most of its time under my sofa for some reason. - Would not charge on the base if it parked there itself. Had to physically lift it up and place it down myself to trigger it to charge.
That’s awkward. I bought mine a few weeks ago. Absolutely satisfied. I have several levels and it cleans each with one charge. As I have no pets, I can’t comment on this issue. It always finds the docking station even if moved to a different location. It is surprisingly quiet too.
The software and control algorithms are quite polished and easy to use. It does tend to get clogged with pet hair. Separately, it does not do well AT ALL if it gets wet even a little bit. It was bumping into water bowls and spilling those, which when mixed with remnants of cat litter created a soupy mess that sticks to all the inside components and clogs the filter. Even without the litter it causes hair and fiber to clog it much faster, and to get quite a bit wound about the rollers. Using the exclusion zones to avoid water bowls worked, though the exact scaling of the zones in the application is hard to tell. It helps to make them slightly larger than you would think it needed to be just looking at the map. One of the other weaknesses is that it tends to drop dirt where it has to climb over a threshold and it can't pick it back up. I'm impressed with the obstacle avoidance for the most part. Cords it does well, cat toys not so much, ones with feathers tended to get pulled in by the brush and stuck. Though I can say for certain it will also avoid cat vomit, bleh.
I bought one of these and it’s been running for about two months, covering about 500 sq feet of carpet. It’s been great! I haven’t had to clean anything yet - the bag hasn’t filled even once. It’s very quiet and effective on carpet. We have a Roborock S6 Pure downstairs, which is mostly hardwood. The Roborock is much louder, and it won’t avoid cables, and it has no clean base, so it needs emptying almost daily, although it’s great at mapping. The wet mopping feature of the Roborock is useless; I could not get it to work. If I had to choose, it would be the Roomba.
Love my j7+. It picks up my cat’s fur incredibly well. I think the suction test is a bit of a red herring. It is objective, but it’s not useful. The most meaningful test is the test of how much of a known amount it picks up from in a carpet. That tests the ability of the brushes to pick up items in the carpet/floor and get them into the suction stream. High suction matters most when the brushes aren’t very effective. So suction is a measure of how good or bad the brushes are, not how effective the vacuum is. I agree that the j7’s strength is carpet, which is almost my entire home. As a result, it’s a great solution for me.
Nahh, the best robotic vacuum released this year is Ecovacs X1 omni (structure cam+2D Machine vision AIVI+ self-clean mop with mop drying). I have been using T8 AIVI but AIVI lacks depths information and perform badly in low light or high dynamic lighting situation; and I watch a professional robotic review in which the reviewer performed the custom test with the help from TÜV confirms all 3D structure light is great at avoiding small items but lacks the ability to recognize object. (Ecovacs/Roborocks claims they are able to recognize object but I don't think they are done properly with NN but with SVM hacks: you can't distinguish a dog poo from a lego piece with the information from point clouds) And X1 Omni even has mop cleaning and drying function. The only drawback is that it sells for 1200 USD right now in China and it is going to be a lot more expensive in the US and EU.
Just Ordered mine via the iRobot Select membership, I'll drop a quick impression for everyone after it arrives and has the chance to run for a few days. I have 3 dogs and one of them is a Husky that sheds like mad, so this will likely be a torture test when it comes to hair - LoL !
I just thought of an interesting idea. It would be great to have a video comparing the lifespan of the different brushes on different robot vacuums and if they wear out faster on hard wood or carpet. The pick up tests are done with near new quality so it'd be interesting to see how they perform will worn brushes.
The rollers on the roombas are garbage, I have an I7+ and an s9+. They both use similar rollers and they are essentially destroyed by hair in a few weeks. You saw it in this video with the long hair test. The long hair started cutting into the roller and if left alone it would cut thru thru the roller.
Zardif did you clean the brushes regularly? If not, hair rolls pile up and start to damage the brushes. Regular cleaning as advised would prevent the cuts you mentioned. Or if such hair collects and cuts alteady in one cleaning then your home might have more than normal hair gathered on the floor than a regular flat, maybe due to many people living?
@@mrtks34 I'm confused by your comment. Many home owners have multiple people with hair living in their household. Ideally a vacuum should be able to withstand vacuuming hair, as it's so common. Though I understand that's hard to achieve when you have rotating parts, the parts shouldn't be so flimsy that hair cuts it, no matter how many people with hair live in the household LOL
@@natasha_exploring From what I have seen in the past, they recommended checking the rollers something like once a week. If you are doing that, you won't have any issues. I would say to the contrary of the original poster that the brushes last a decent time period given their regular use, if you maintain them properly.
Could you start including cleaning times in these reviews? Something like how long it took to clean each of the demo rooms maybe? I get that I'm not the one vacuuming, but I am the one listening to the vacuum. It can get annoying hearing it running for 1/2 the day every time. The Roomba i7 I have currently takes at LOT longer to clean my house than the previous Neato D7 (eventually died). I used to have the Neato clean the entire house 3x a week. I have to split it up with the Roomba because it takes easily 2x as long to clean the same space in my experience.
Same! My Roomba S9+ takes forever to clean the same room (4-6 hours even longer if it docks to recharge) compared to the Roborock S7+ just 2 hours. If I had known I would've never bought the Roomba. I have about 2100 SQft of open floor space so Roborocks seems to be designed perfectly for that use case
I see that Roomba has put a light next to the camera obstacle avoidance/navigation system... Finally... Test yours in the dark please!! Or read the owners manual: does it still "strongly recommend" the rooms it's cleaning have lights on??? Thanks for all that you do!
On another channel, it was tested in the dark. Roomba returned to its base before finishing the house as the sun set and it could not see anymore. It's the price we pay for visual obstacle avoidance. A small tradeoff really.
I got to be apart of the introduction of this vaccuum with an iRobot Rep and the light on the front is not designed to help it clean in the dark. You still need lights on or else it won’t do as good of a job.
@@meganwinters5163 True, but if you have some smart light system in your house you could program that to turn on just for the time the vacuum works, and then off again when its finished.
@@1984kron I agree that this is a possibility... But if I had too do this 🤔 I'll just stick with "other options". Not my cup of tea keeping lights on. Thank you for your input 👍
Really excited about this. Can you do a round up of game changing tools for heavy shedding pet houses? I looked through your existing videos and it looks like most of the pet round ups are pretty old and there has been a bunch of new stuff.
On its first run I thought is was broken because there was no vacuum motor sound. The low power rating explains it. Seems to me to be more of an electric broom than a vacuum cleaner. Excellent video.
I held off getting a robo vac for a while, but I eventually decided on buying a used i7+(refurbished). I think the type of vacuum you buy depends, like. Roomba are great at pulling dust out of carpet. However, you could opt for other brands for their higher suction/battery life if you only have hardwood/linoleum/tile floors.
I'm glad to see this confirming my suspicion that the i7 with the 980 type rollers are far better at deep cleaning. It's amazing how much of a performance killer the original was.
I’ve had the j7+ for 3 months and the battery failed already. Luckily it’s still under warranty, but it’s still annoying that i will be without it for 10-14 business days!
I'm such a weirdo for watching every single one of these videos. Ok, I'm ordering the J7+ today! I went with the Deebot N8 Pro+ a couple months ago but autoempty rarely worked. I returned it and got a replacement. Same issue. The bin doesn't seem to be clogged- the feature just doesn't work. I'm going back to iRobot. The couple hundred extra is worth it if it actually works.
Sounded great until the hair test. Looking for a unit to clean long dog hair on hard surface floor that is capable operating in the night and this unit unfortunately would not work for me.
Is there any chance Vacuum Wars could start regularly including tests in reviews for very thick carpet? For example we have very thick pile carpet 17.5mm (2/3rd inch) and it the s9+ struggled (Magnificus-95 from Invictus). We got an S9+ for a short time, after watching lots of reviews including those on Vacum Wars. However ended up needing to return it, iRobot's customer support really was excellent! It seemed to struggle driving, didn't seem to drive in straight sensible lines. It got stuck very quickly multiple times and due to its D shape if it did get stuck, it struggled to get out of them as couldn't turn properly. If I looked at a robot again I'd only go for a round one, just due to this issue. I do wonder if s9+ struggled due to it's excellent pickup, certainly our old Dyson upright was very heavy going as it sucked down so much. Would the j7+ be better, I'd love to know. For now we've settled on a cordless Shark ICZ300UKT with the liftaway feature, which really as been excelent so far, albeit with a human on the over end!
I've had two Neato Botvacs (Connected and the D7), which are D-shaped, and never had an issue of them getting stuck. I am not sure if the iRobot does this, but if the Neato gets into a tight spot, it lifts up its rear end as it is backing up and rotating. I believe this helps because it makes its overall profile length slightly shorter. As for the carpets, I have medium pile (closer to the deeper side of medium), so I can't say how it would handle a deep pile carpet, but it has handled ours just fine. The downside to the Neato is that it doesn't do obstacle detection like the J7+ can (no cameras). So you need to make sure you pick up toys, cords, etc. before running it. It uses LiDAR to map out the room to make efficient work at cleaning it (even in the dark), an side edge sensor to keep it from bumping into walls and furniture, along with the front/left/right bump sensors. As such, it doesn't need to bump its way around to map out a room and does a really good job at cleaning a room with minimal touching of objects. Neato's also don't have self-emptying bins, so you need to empty out the bot's bin yourself. But it does have a very large bin compared to the competition. The height of the Neato's is higher the most of the other competition by around .5"-.6", so don't count on it to be able to vacuum under certain furniture. If I had any complaints about my Neato, it would be: no obstacle detection (my kitties sneak out their toys after I pick them up, occasionally jamming the Botvac), the height could be a little lower so it could fit under my china cabinets (need it to be no taller than 3.5"), the brush head is susceptible to hair wrap that slices up the silicone blades (so clean the brush head frequently). At some point some of the free-spinning wheels (the ones without motors) will start to squeak, but this is easily fixed with some dry-lube spray on the wheel's axle.
I got this vacuum for Christmas after seeing this review. After a little over a month, I can say that it has worked really well. However, your hair and fur test does not hold up. I have constant fur getting stuck on and inside the rollers to the point where I have to clean it after every use. It will also leave clumps of hair on carpet and rugs and not pick it up. This is my only complaint. I guess it doesn't hold up to two huskies. Even when I have it programed to go every day
Another great video! The j7+ seems like a great vacuum and now they are offering a subscription of sorts. $30 month and it goes with a warranty and automatically sends you supplies when needed.
@@shanew7361 I have a shedding Husky, I had hair everywhere. This thing saved me. It’s not perfect but it’s the best Roomba I’ve ever had, and I’ve had five. Hair will have to be removed occasionally from the roller axles which takes literally 15 seconds. And the dust bin needs to be cleaned occasionally also. No big deal considering everything this thing does, and doesn’t do, like run over cords. No more picking up before vacuuming. and It empties itself and goes back to work. My house is only 1450 sq ft with carpet, and hardwood. It does my house on one charge no problem, but I’ve seen reviews of people with large houses complaining about the battery life. I give the thing a full five stars, I’d be lost without it. Hope this helps.
Just got one of these on the iRobot select plan, seems to be doing great so far. I do wish for a bit more suction, and maybe a counter rotating brush head on the opposite side like some other brands models.
I have a labrador retriever and he sheds a lot (lot of fine hair and dander). We have a home mainly with hardwood floor and carpet in some of the rooms in the first floor. I just need a good vacuum robot that just does one job really really well and that is pick up his hair and dander. All the fancy stuff is just a plus for me. I previously bought a Eufy BoostIQ Robovac 11S that barely did the job well. So have been looking for a good alternate since then. Thanks.
I have owned this robot vacuum for probably 2 years. As bad as I hate to admit it but I just discovered yesterday that it really doesn’t vacuum. It only sweeps. I used my Dyson 15 on my carpets as was shocked at how much dirt was left in my carpets. It is a great sweeper on my hard wood floors but vacuum it doesn’t. I will continue to use it on my hard floor floors but not on my carpets.
My vote is for the Roborock. The navigation and speed of cleaning are leagues better than the Roomba and I have both of them at home. Someone did mention Roborock doesn't do well on deep carpeting, but I cannot comment on that since I don't have any.
I have three dogs that live inside my home, two of which should be outside dogs, if you know what I mean! That said I’m on my third i7 because of dog💩, I’m sure there will be a j7 in my future, lol! IRobot is the most customer friendly company this old retired business owner ever dealt with!
Any word on low light or completely dark room operation? Looks like it has a light in front of the camera but will that mean I can now run it overnight with the lights off?
Everyone's milage seems to vary. Maintanace and the amount of use they get will affect how long they last. IRobot has a good reputation for hanging in there.
@@VacuumWars I did it! I have one now. And it's even better than I had dreamed of. Its navigation is exactly as I expected. You can feel how that little thing is exploring and thinking.
Please tell me if I should buy a) a j7+ or b) a roborock S7 or c) wait another year and hope for the one vacuum to rule them all (j9+ or newer roborock)? Serious question, this is what the people want to know.
@AltitudeDashboard Such level of brainwashing. Roborock S7 does not have camera. It uses LIDAR to navigate. j7+ does have a camera. So it's easier for your US daddy to know what's inside your house...

I'm still not convinced with the pet waste. It's great when they avoid a "normal" pile of crap and can detect various ways that pile can look. What about when your pet doesn't feel good and vomits or has diarrhea? Can it detect that? Don't wanna come home to a bunch of that spread all over the house... Yikes! Or for that matter what if some other liquid or material that's not a sort of "solid" shape gets in the way? Can't think of an example there, but I'm sure there is plenty of stuff that could just get everywhere that happens.
Failure - NO keep out lines, Keep out zones are at 90% angles only! Going back to Roborock 7+, again failure maps are very limited as can’t select on them, must use name/fav’s… half a try, not up to Roborock software !!!
I wish they would up their game on the software side of things. I got my j7+ on Friday, had some kind of app glitch and it would not allow a mapping run. Finally got past that no thanks to their joke of a tech support 'call center' it and mapped the house nicely on Saturday - 2 runs for mapping. It worked great on Sunday. Then Monday happened. It made the first run just fine. Then after that the clean map just said "Map Unavailable" I tried everything I could find to get it going again and finally resorted to a factory reset, so I get to start over. I'll find out tomorrow if it worked, or if Best Buy gets the vacuum back. So when you can get it to work, it's nice. But so far, the experience has not been good at all.
I still prefer the Roomba S9+. All they need to do is put another camera on S9 from the front for detection just like the J7 and update the S9 more to fix a lot of an issues.
Maybe this is a stupid question, but is it only pet poop that it avoids? Or does it also avoid pet pee or vomit? Our cat's sometimes leave a hairball or vomit around the livingroom... and if we aren't home it would be handy that the roomba would avoid this!
@@VacuumWars So far its pretty neat. Started to clean/map but it did not come with a full charge so its taking a nap right now 😂 I was expecting it to be loud like a blow dryer while it vacuumed but it is pretty darn quiet. Also, no home internet right now due to Hurricane Ida but I set my wife’s phone up as a hotspot and worked the app on my phone and it appears to work fine like that.
Looks neat. They've gone back to the completely circular design. Too bad. But I would give that up for the poop avoidance, if I could afford to upgrade every time a new model came out.
Circle is better than d shaped robot. D shaped robots like Neato have big problems turning in corners, small spaces, and they can get stuck. Round robots just need good sidebrush, which Roombas have. ;)

Are there any tests to see how abrasive the vacuum is to floors over time? A normal vacuum shouldn't be very abrasive because it more or less just lifts the sand, etc. off of the floor. But a Roomba J7+ with it's rollers might scratch the floor a bit. Surely it would not matter over a few weeks or months. But what about your hardwood floors in 5 years. Would it matter? Or are Timmy's sneakers doing far more damage? Measuring would be an interesting challenge.
Does the roomba brand require WiFi for proper smart mapping? Until we get star-link, we do not have the ability to have the vacuum hooked to WiFi constantly.
How do Roombas and other robot vacuums do on smartstrand carpet or soft carpet? There is apparently a very short approved list of vacuums for smartstrand carpets. Do you measure wear on carpet fibers?
Gosh these videos are great!! Thank you so much! Have so much more insight now. A question though; If I have lots of cat toys laying around, is this still the best choice? Really otherwise leaning on to this.

That’s awkward. I bought mine a few weeks ago. Absolutely satisfied. I have several levels and it cleans each with one charge. As I have no pets, I can’t comment on this issue. It always finds the docking station even if moved to a different location. It is surprisingly quiet too.
@@maxbarko8717 This is the j7+, and it's very very loud.
@@natasha_exploring not mine, I wonder what is wrong with yours. Did you contact support?
I'm glad you have been happy with it. I'm sorry to hear about that S6 though!
@@VacuumWars in Roborock’s defense: It was less than half the price.
Feels like we need a head to head with the roborock s7+

Nahh, the best robotic vacuum released this year is Ecovacs X1 omni (structure cam+2D Machine vision AIVI+ self-clean mop with mop drying).
I have been using T8 AIVI but AIVI lacks depths information and perform badly in low light or high dynamic lighting situation; and I watch a professional robotic review in which the reviewer performed the custom test with the help from TÜV confirms all 3D structure light is great at avoiding small items but lacks the ability to recognize object. (Ecovacs/Roborocks claims they are able to recognize object but I don't think they are done properly with NN but with SVM hacks: you can't distinguish a dog poo from a lego piece with the information from point clouds)
And X1 Omni even has mop cleaning and drying function.
The only drawback is that it sells for 1200 USD right now in China and it is going to be a lot more expensive in the US and EU.
[owns cats so that he can test vacuums]
Seriously, though. Easily my favorite channel on RUclips
😄 thank you!
Just Ordered mine via the iRobot Select membership, I'll drop a quick impression for everyone after it arrives and has the chance to run for a few days. I have 3 dogs and one of them is a Husky that sheds like mad, so this will likely be a torture test when it comes to hair - LoL !
I'm looking forward to that!
A comparation between this Romba and the best Samsung robot would be great!
Yea!
Looks like a small toilet when it's docked. I bought one of these today!
Hope you really enjoy it!
Great point. I have the roomba I7 and S9 they seem to take twice as long to clean as my Roborock
iturned my i7 down to ‘one pass’ from ‘auto’ as it just seemed to be retreading ground to use up the battery
@@MrKlawUK I have mine set to one pass as well. I have pretty thick carpet so it was doing multiple passes on all the carpeted areas.
Thanks for the input!
@@nickp1273 this is a hugely inconvenient design flaw in my opinion 😒... thank you for all your help and information 👍
@@meganwinters5163 True, but if you have some smart light system in your house you could program that to turn on just for the time the vacuum works, and then off again when its finished.

I have been waiting for this review :)
Could you do a review of the Shark AI vac mop and the Shark AI robot with self emptying bin. Would love to get your POV 🙏
I am confused as to why they went with a front flat design for the s9 and now have gone back to being round for the j7?!?!
Agree! I'm waiting for another flat front model to come out. It is much better in the corners.
I bought a refurb i7+ too
wow, that is the first roomba that is super tempting to buy, costs around the same as roborock s7 with the optional auto-empty dock. Nice!
I got mine for my birthday this year and I love it !!!
Weird. They went back to the round form factor. Why? Thought flat end made sense for cleaning corners?
The Q7+ seems to be Roborock's answer to the J7+. Would be cool to compare both. Thanks for your insightful reviews!
I can't make any promises right now, but thank you for that suggestion.
Wait. Should I upgrade my s9?
How does the suction compare to the S9?
I wish it would use a LIDAR and it would be perfect.

Did you decide on a robot yet?
$30/month to rent a vacuum?
😂
Thanks very well done video. I was gifted an older model Roomba very impressive product.
I'd like to see a long term reliability test after daily usage.

@@shanew7361
I have a shedding Husky, I had hair everywhere.
Another great review! Just what I was hoping to hear! Now to see if there will be any Black Friday deals....
Maybe not this year. This one is too new for super markdowns.
It's only an i7 with avoidance sensors.
Thanks.
Did you find one? We've had our Samsung for over 2 years now and it's still going.

Ack…watching that white robot run thru the dog poop ruined my day. That always gives me nightmares!
Not happy with mine. Will not pick up cat hair on hard floor. Very disappointed.
Torn between this or a Roborock with built-in mopping. I don't know how valuable built-in mopping is though.
It is with the sonic mop for sure
My vote is for the Roborock. The navigation and speed of cleaning are leagues better than the Roomba and I have both of them at home. Someone did mention Roborock doesn't do well on deep carpeting, but I cannot comment on that since I don't have any.
I hope to have the Best of 2021 Robot Vacuum video done soon. Maybe that will help.

Do you mean vomit?

The Deebot T9+ isn't in major dealers yet. It will likely not be shipped to the US yet, or it will take months for that to happen.

Then after that the clean map just said "Map Unavailable"
I tried everything I could find to get it going again and finally resorted to a factory reset, so I get to start over.

Technically it's not an upgrade!
This is £900 in the UK. They're currently discounting the i7+ by 20% in a limited sale.
You seem to be overthinking this, if the J7+ suits your needs just get it, mine is great!
Does the roomba brand require WiFi for proper smart mapping? Until we get star-link, we do not have the ability to have the vacuum hooked to WiFi constantly.

Don't you miss a mopping function on the robot? It does make the cleaning result extra fresh, no?
How do Roombas and other robot vacuums do on smartstrand carpet or soft carpet? There is apparently a very short approved list of vacuums for smartstrand carpets. Do you measure wear on carpet fibers?
Gosh these videos are great!! Thank you so much! Have so much more insight now. A question though; If I have lots of cat toys laying around, is this still the best choice? Really otherwise leaning on to this.
